I saw reviews on this product on YouTube and decided to give it a try. Let’s just say it was worth every penny. I have only had this less than a day, so I can’t speak to the quality or longevity of the item, but as for how it works - it’s perfection. It makes diamond painting so easy. If only the pen was more of a higher quality pen - for comfort - I’d say this is near perfect. The flimsy pen gets weight down by the tubing so over time, your hand gets tired. However, it works perfectly. So easy to pick drills up and put them down. The noise is minimal and I don’t find myself bothered by it. I can still listen to videos while painting and enjoy myself. I love how easy it is to plugin to a USB source. It’s awesome. I cannot wait to see these machines get improved over time and the pen quality go up for these units and/or perhaps people will design turntable pens made for this equipment. That’d be incredible. For those of you who hate putty or wax, this is for you. For those of you who struggle with ABs - this is for you! I’m really happy about this purchase! This is the best diamond art pen ever. It works perfect, picks up the beads with no problem. It's very quiet. The only negative comment I have is that when you shut the pen off it should light up automatically and show the red light. The light does not go on until you blow on the connection of the charger and it only stays on a short time. There are no directions telling you how long it should be charging. No way to really know if it's charging or not. Once the red light goes off you never really know how long it actually charged. Other wise it's great. I like using putty, but for AB drills I have found that to be an absolute nightmare with them constantly pulling the putty out and making a mess on my painting. This is ultra quiet and works great for them. No mess. Easy pick up. I wish the pen were a little more ergonomic, but the foam is nice and I use my regular pen for non AB drills, so it's not a big deal. ... show more

I freaking love this thing! I haven't had the best luck with wax so this was a LIFESAVER for me - I was able to place more singles than I could with multi placers as I was struggling with the wax. Granted, I don't have 100% success picking them up every single time, but I think that is more due to me not holding at the proper angle (user error) then the actual functionality of the tool. I would most likely buy again (as I'm not so sure how long this will last after reading other reviews) but I've had it for a month now, and so far I only had one issue where it was "sucking at sucking" so I detached the hose and actually blew through the pen and it seemed to "fix" what must have been clogging it. Wish it came with a multi placer, so I'm going to try one from here on amazon. The pen is AWFUL for my hand, so I rigged it up with some bandage tape and a big squishy kid's pencil holder and it is AMAZING! So light and comfortable, I can work for hours without any issues. I have tinnitus, so I don't hear this thing at all, lol - so can't give an honest review on that. It's the perfect little size, and I love that it is designed to use with or without a power cord. I actually use the "pen" hook to hang the base from my cupholder, so it never gets in my way. I've only needed the short hose, but like that there is an extra long one if needed. ... show more

This is my 3rd Diamond Art Vacuum Pen and its so nice and quiet. I mean so quiet I had to check to see if it was on. I ran it for 4 hrs. shutting it off from the switch on the box every time I got up within 4 hr. time frame. It was already charged when I opened the package, and NEW. The tubing is a bit sticky. I used a wet wipe and it kept the dog hair from sticking to it. LOL --- I never had to repeat pick up a drill. Very happy with this purchase, so far, and hope it lasts a good long time. ... show more

It's totally changed my dotting. No more wax or putty to mess with. The suction is just enough to pick up the drills and the machine is really quiet. The only thing I don't completely love is the hose, it's kind of unruly sometimes.

I love this took because I dont have to mess with the putty we usually use in diamond painting. However it could use a bit more suction and it would be nice if they included a multi placer tool as well. I did use a hot nail to punch a multi placer I have and it worked ok. It needs more Suction power to work better. The tubing can be a bit of a nuisance. But the unit is rechargeable and doesnt havr to be hook up to a power source at all times so that makes it more manageable. Im looking forwards to the improvements that will most likely be made in newer models. Overall its a great tool. Just needs some work. Well worth the money ... show more
