I’ve played with a handful of paddles over the past year, but this one really impressed me. Right out of the box, the quality feels solid and professional. The aero throat design caught my attention—it’s not just for looks. It genuinely reduces drag and gives me a faster swing. I noticed I was reacting quicker at the net and getting more power without forcing my shots. That’s a huge plus, especially during fast-paced games. The micro-gritted surface is another game-changer. Compared to smoother paddles I’ve used, this one gives me more control over spin, and I feel like I can place my shots with intention, especially cross-court dinks or topspin drives. The ball really “sticks” for a split second longer, which helps a lot with finesse. I also like the edgeless design—not only does it look sleek, but it also expands the sweet spot. I’ve had fewer mishits since switching to this paddle, especially on those off-center shots. The extra reach from the elongated shape is perfect for those tough angles too.

I've only been playing for about 4 months at this point so I'm not that experienced with different paddles but I'm generally pretty athletically inclined. With that in mind, I get pretty noticeable power and spin from this compared to a couple other paddles I've used in the same price range (~$50). It has a very firm feel, but I don't find it harder to control than softer feeling paddles. The grit on it feels very nice and rough and allows me to put much more spin on much harder serves. I also like the stock grip tape: it has mild ribs that feel good in hand and I have less grip issues when my hands get really sweaty. My biggest downside with this paddle is hits missing the sweet spot feels very dead, especially near the throat. The sweet spot feels smaller the Roore Coronado TI (the paddle i use most frequently currently) but the edgeless at least keeps really off hits from deflecting in odd directions. The paddle feels light enough (scale measures 230g - the roore is 225), but I don't think the vented throat really feels exceptionally different: it certainly sounds different on fast swings but I think most people's perception of it being a massive game-changer is a psychological effect. A few other things of note as far as value: the packaging was pretty nice and it came with a rubber cleaning block, 2 extra overgrips, and a cover.

This is an interesting story. I normally use a $200 control paddle, and then I learned that they changed the rules so that you can drop the ball off your paddle. I am always pushing things, and it occurred to me that if I had a paddle with a hole in it, that would hold the ball steady and I could drop it from a height. Sadly, the hold in the paddle really does not accommodate that. However, it is a crazy light paddle with an amazing surface. I use it about half the time because I get crazy spin. and it has held up well. It was a real bargain.

Excellent carbon fiber paddle. Lightweight and has a rough paddle surface for ball control. No edge to interfere with ball strikes. Grip is long enough for any hand and gives you an extra inch in reach. Love it and priced where it should be <$20. As good a paddle as I have used.
