If you are new to the survival world of things, this is actually a good starter kit. The only thing I would also think to include would be a water filtration item and its GOLDEN. Would have been 5 starts but the flashlight didn’t work. We tried everything. I bought two of these, one green one tan. 1 flashlight worked, the other not so much. It’s a cheap flashlight, what I kinda expected with so much included with the kit, but annoyed it didn’t work ever..

First off, the shipping was very fast! Even though this is marketed as "mens" survival kit, I personally think it's pretty handy for everyone. The small case that everything is stored in feels lightweight and durable. I love that many of the tools include are multifunctional, so they wont take up too much space. The tools feel sturdy & durable, yet the kit is surprisingly lightweight. The one thing I will replace is the plastic tweezers. I think metal ones would work best for me. First aid basics are included - alcohol prep wipes, scissors bandaids tape, 1 small roll of guaze, etc. (This is not a large first aid kit, so I would want to add a couple of things for my personal preference.) The little hand shovel is not something I would have thought of, but would be grateful for in a pinch. For what you get, I feel this kit is more than worth the price. Bought it as a gift and my fault for not thoroughly getting to the dimensions in the details, but man this kit is much smaller than I was expecting. The shovel is to small to be used for much, you could basically dig just as well with a serving spoon. The quality of many of the components is bad. The flashlight in my kit does not work. The whole thing comes in a tiny pack about the size of a first aid kit (though it doesn't include first aid items). If the size of everything was the only issue then I would've gave it another star, but combined with the other issues I think 3 stars might even be a little generous. ... show more
