Our 3 year old grandson had 2 other Picasso tile sets. We ordered this from Amazon and when it arrive he was thrilled but the one car did not run. I contact Picasso directly rather than send the whole thing back since it was a birthday gift. They responded in less than 24 hours. After proof of purchase, they sent me 2 new cars in less than a week. When I got them, to my surprise, I found that while the other car ran it was broken, too, because there were suppose to be flashing lights. The company made this right and quickly and their products are awesome!

I bought this for my 4 year old granddaughter. The magnetic tiles that form the track are perfect for small hands and safe with no sharp edges. The colour of the road tiles is realistic. This starter set is a good value. The quality construction will make this fun toy last longer!! The signs are the weak point. They are so cute, but don’t stay on the track well. Even with that, the toy is lots of fun.

Update: the seller sent me the other cars that are pictured (the translucent ones). We were able to get those cars to work and my kid really enjoys this track. Also like other reviewers said the magnets are not super strong, so the track comes apart easily. It’s a mild frustration for older kids who can put it back together, bigger frustration for younger kids who can’t. I took the cars completely apart and there is literally no way to put batteries in. The opening is too small and at the wrong angle and the surrounding area is one solid tube of plastic. The cars I received also don’t look like the ones that were pictured. Because of the way the cars are designed to move on their own, you can’t even push them along the track to play with them without batteries. We were so bummed, we put a whole track together and my kid was so excited to put batteries in to watch the cars motor around. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

First our set came with broken cars we only realized after the track was set up. And the magnets are not very strong. My son doesn’t realize any of this and loves it still.
