  • They do their damn job.
As a silversmith I'm a Big fan of these for the price. The smaller sizes it comes with are great for some of those really hard to get spaces. Only one came damaged but there are multiple of each mandrel.

  • Work well, but random assortment
These work very well. Pointed tips remained after polishing brass and silver, which was impressive. I was disappointed however that there is no color chart, different companies have different colors for grit I’ve found, so it’s trial and error with these which is difficult on jewelry. I did not receive each bit with one of each grit, again, difficult for jewelry and new small business with limited budgets. Overall bits are good. Wish they gave what they showed. ... show more

  • Awsome set of bits for polishing small holes in glass
Alot of the bad reviews ive seen are written by people who ethier dont know how to use these or they ordered the wrong thing..the one complaint i agree with is no color chart. But if u know wat ur lookin at u can kinda figure out which is which. I drill holes in glass then use these to prepolish the hole. Diamond in rubber bits that are this small is hard to find! So when u use these u must have water running over the bit..u can create a simple drip system with a milk jug an an knife then just take it outside..or u can just hold it under a dripping faucet..the higher the speed the more water u need. If it starts to smear an smell like burnt rubber ur going too fast! For the price these are awsome! Most bits like this cost about 6-10bucks each.. ... show more

  • Cheap, works, grit confusing
I've seen the misc comments with grit colors (Red is 80 grit; Green is 240 grit, Blue is 600 grit), but this kit comes with brown/red/green/turquoise/blue and varying shades of each. It did what I needed and was cheap. I was able to get a reasonable mirror finish using the blue points. If the grit was called out it would be an amazing value. These bits did get eaten pretty fast when used on stainless steel. They're really intended for brass/aluminum though, so not the fault of the bit. You can use petroleum jelly or other non-solvent lubricants or run it dry. Use low rpms (<1500) for best control/tool life. ... show more

  • Inconsistent - Preliminary Review
Inconsistent selection of bit shapes and grits. Seven bits had little or no grit, mostly bare rubber. At least one tip is visibly off-center And one other was badly shaped. I will be trying the bits out, testing the functional quality and how well they hold up, then edit my review.

  • Weird assortment
Yet another review on the weird assortment of these polishing tips. I received red, blue, and green ones, and there are 26 tips, but also brown ones? After looking closely at them, I saw that they seemed more flexible and less gritty than the others so naturally I assumed that they were a more finely gritted tip. Not the case at all. I think I found two tips in the package that I can use and are actually true to the item description. I think what I find to be most disappointing is that after numerous customer reviews on this item that, for the most part, all echo the same product issues, Amazon does nothing in regards to editing the item description to include the details that are missing so that customers know how to make sense of what is received without having to read an entire book of reviews for the information. ... show more

  • Great for Jewelers
I love these and they fit perfectly in my quick change Foredom handpiece. These are normally used by dentists but they also work great for fine detailed jewelry. If you don't have a quick change handpiece, they will work with a turn chuck handpiece but not my dremel without a special chuck insert I suppose. They work great for cleaning up after stone setting. ... show more

  • Inexpensive, polisher for jewelry or wood
Made for jewelry polishing but I use it for small wood items. Works well. Fits in Drexel or Fordham tools.
