Such a beautifully crafted frame. Particularly impressed with the high resolution picture quality and ease of setup/photo sharing. Its so easy for me and the kids to send pictures straight from my phone to Grampa's frame. A perfect gift for yourself or that one friend who has everything. Pictures get uploaded quickly as soon as you send them. There is even a chime that plays when someone shares a new photo with you.     • More Tech than really needed, but... Updated. Another update

Found our old Digital Frame had crashed and no longer worked. Looked around on Amazon and found this one at a decent price with all the tech involved. We wanted a frame with an SD card reader, not just a "cloud based" library with no other way to access pictures. Don't want to have another device that has info that will bother us to no end. While this one has WiFi and all that other stuff, it has both an SD reader and a USB port to be able to randomly shuffle through all the photos. Picture quality is better than the previous device, but I find that the transitions area bit stuttery at time. Probably a result of the file size for any particular jpg file. The only issue I had was that the SD card from the previous device could not be read. It wasn't corrupt, since it worked fine is a laptop. I just copied to a different brand of SD card and it worked fine. I DID connect to the local WiFi to get the clock and calendar to sync up, but did NOT create the cloud account, which is nice to have so I'm not fixing the time every few months. Overall, a good product with different options for displaying with a frame, frameless, desktop or wall mounting. Plus it was delivered the same day. Adding on a bit of an update- The device has recently started acting up and basically just shutting down at random times. Sometimes every day, sometimes every few days. It may have an issue with temperature or just internal overheating. But each time requires a reset and reconnecting with the WiFi. Adding ANOTHER update! Since about a month after the last 'edit/update', the frame has worked perfectly. No random shutdowns or freezes. A bit baffling, but whatever. ... show more

The frame was actually for my Parents, who are you seniors. They LOVE it! It's a place to hold photos that are near and dear to their hearts. I uploaded photos from when they first met, in HS up to the grand and great-grand kids! My Parents love watching the photos change.

    • This product barely worked 3 years ago and new ones don’t at all

I’ve purchased 3 of these in the past as gifts and the app was always kinda janky. “PhotoShare Frame” app barely worked but it did technically work. The instructions never matched to the actual app. Finally it works. But this was 2-3 years ago. I bought a new one for my grandma this year but I could not get the code to work at all. At the time, on Dec 22nd “PhotoShare Frame” was in the App Store with like 4.3 stars. But so was a new one, “PhotoShare Frame v2”. I downloaded the new one too and couldn’t get the frame set up with the code either. So I returned and replaced it and it miraculously delivered Christmas Eve. I got that one set up I’m using the old version of the app because it wouldn’t register with the v2. The old version of app doesn’t have the option to set it up as a gift either. So I effectively owned the frame. I had all of my siblings and cousins download the app but suddenly “PhotoShare Frame” was missing and only “PhotoShare Frame v2” with 1.2 stars was available. So they downloaded the new app and uploaded photos to the frame. Then on Christmas my grandma opens her gift and it has all of these photos on it but there but now she can’t get it set up on her phone. So I returned both and bought one that uses the Frameo app and it worked perfectly. Super easy. Way easier than this has ever been. And cheaper. And and the packaging for both of these that I ordered was smashed. So yeah. Don’t buy this. ... show more
