    • The dimming and custom color features never really worked and it broke after 2 months.

I love how easy this type of light is to install and I have one in another room from a different seller that works great. As soon as I got this set up I realized the dimming feature doesn't work right. For the preset colors you can brighten and dim but it's VERY slow and there's not a lot of range. For the custom colors you can't brighten or dim them at all. I don't know if that's the way it's designed but the other lights I have are able to be customized and also brightened and dimmed much easier, so maybe it's just these lights. Either way I was kinda disappointed but it still worked for it's intended purpose so I moved on... Until I went to turn them in today not even 2 months after buying them and only about the first 2 feet work. I don't know how that happened because I didn't mess around with them at all buts it's kinda a let down. ... show more

These came on time. That was the only actual good thing about this tbh. The installing was kinda hard cause I started peeling off the adhesive without realizing there was a top layer to peel off? it was really hard to get that off the sticky part and I would've kept peeling if I hadn't have searched it up. the peely part and the sticky part were both white so it was hard to tell if I was getting the top layer off or the actual sticking part. Nightmare to connect the lights without soldering or buying additional connectors. I had no idea you had to do either of those to connect them. This is the case with all led lights and there should be an easier way to do it. it was impossible for me to keep the two connected without soldering or buying a SEPERATE connector. They should include connectors or just make them ONE line of strips instead of two rolls or just try to solve that whole "4 pins have to touch at a certain angle and have a certain weight pressed on them." My dad SOMEHOW used a push pin in the wall to keep the 4 points down but if I keep the lights on too long, they start to flicker and the second strip starts to change color. The adhesion is good on the wall but I thought it would be ok for re-using but it really wasn't. After the whole connectors problem (before my dad came home and did that pushpin thing) i almost broke down because I spent all day trying to tape down or connect the two strips somehow. I thought I could move where the less went p the wall so I could make the first roll go around the half of my room you can see when you walk in and just not use the other roll of LEDs but I started peeling off the lights (because I've been told you can move them a few times) and the stickiness was NON EXISTANT. ... show more

Remote does not work at all. Change battery, see Youtube tutorials, etc and remote does not work. My daughter has to plug and unplug from the wall to turn it on/off and always same color all time (blue). I will try to contact the seller to know whether is the remote itself or the white box connector. Updated review: it seems to be the RGB control box since I checked with the cellphone in the infrared sender at the top of the remote and I can see it blinks red as it is working well.
