I got this tripod so I could get better group shots of my family and also macro shots out in the garden. This item comports itself admirably in both scenarios. I'm actually surprised by how sturdy this tripod is, given its weight. Also, it's very easy to figure out how to affix your phone and manipulate the tripod without even looking at the instructional leaflet that it ships with. It's easy to recommend this item to anyone who's interested in expanding the boundries of their phone photography.

Great to have a tripod on hand, when you have shaky hands. It bounces just a bit on a less than solid floor, since the tripod portion is pretty low, but otherwise works great. Includes a handy clicker to take pictures while in view.

I've been on the lookout for a selfie stick that is a bit more tripod like than my regular selfie sticks- I wanted a slightly wider and more stable base. This gives that exactly. It extends pretty quickly with nonadjustable clamps and can be extended surprisingly tall. You can certainly gets some faux drone style shots with this. The heads for this tripod/selfie stick are not great. they are made of the cheapest plastic and the camera mount won't hold my larger cellphone. I attached a standard ball head and it's so much better. With this I can mount my Osmo Action or my phone or even another camera and trust the ball head will work and not break. I would not put my osmo action on this fully expended without some sort of weight to hold the tripod in place. It's really meant for smaller cellphones or even a small light. Because this is so lightweight a breeze will catch it and knock it over. I have a Ulanzi light that fits on this perfectly and I can aim it where I need it and get a nice highlight of color. This is exactly what it looks like- a really inexpensive selfie stick that can act as a light stand or a tripod in a pinch.

What a tripod! Essentially straight out of the box it is assembled already. If you have ever had to deal with a tripod that was wobbly, or a selfie stick that caused your phone to sag down, then you will be so thankful, as I am, to have a product of this caliber at this low price. It even comes with a remote that sets up in seconds, and can pick up 30 feet away. My coworkers made a comment, at our meeting on a video call, about how precise and perfect the angle was on my call. I sung this tripod’s praises to them. This tripod has made me look good and perform better with presentations. It is sturdy aluminum. The base does not wobble at all. A locking knob is unscrewed in seconds to convert from a tripod to a selfie stick. The phone mount goes into landscape and vertical mode easily, and holds firm in either. I can leave it on a desk or extend it to 70 inches. I am so pleased with how versatile it is. I have already taken this on a hiking trip, and captured gorgeous photos of my husband and me in the fall leaves. The tripod is only 17 inches when it is folded down and it is so lightweight. It comes with its own carry bag that is not heavy, and can fit in a backpack or large purse. Overall, this is a high quality, well made product at a fantastic value.

When I opened the box and pulled it out I was surprised by the remote. Looking back at the listing they do reference it but not very prominently. I tried that out before pulling the rest of it out of the box. It didn't even take a minute to set it up and worked very well for taking pictures or starting and stopping the video. I then put together the tripod and fully extended it with the phone. I held it quite well and could be focused at any angle. I figured it would be similar in quality to one of my old camcorder tripods but was much better. It's a lot sturdier and I'm sure if you used it for a selfie stick you would have no problems with sag or trusting the pole. Thinking of my old camcorder I was looking at the threads at the top and it looked to be the same as most camcorders or cameras. I wanted to see and sure enough it was as you can see in the picture. It was also still quite sturdy with the much heavier than a phone camcorder. The only thing I will point out is that with all the sections fully extended the stick part of it was only a little over 61". So their measurement must include the cellphone once attached. It also came with a nice carry bag for it too.
