Good board. Seems like it's better for tricks than cruising. Claims abec 11 bearings but I don't think that's true at all. It was very loose out of the box. I switched out the bushings to black and it's much better for my weight. As well although the wheels don't spin for cruising, it's more stable to try to ollie or do tricks on a board that won't slide out from under you if you misplace your weight on a landing.

We were looking for a beginner skateboard for our child...there were a lot of options on Amazon in a similar price range. We were looking for a skateboard that will be mostly used in driveways and sidewalks...not a half-pipe. Two things pushed this one to the front of the line: simple graphics and immediate availability. The board arrived and was put in use. It was ridden for the afternoon by our child...all flat surfaces. After their feedback, I checked the bolts on the trucks and wheels. I tightened the trucks to stiffen the turning to their liking and checked the wheels. All wheels were tight except one - I addressed that one. It has been used everyday since. Rides well and sturdy for basic tricks and normal thrashing. One issue, that did not affect riding, was the deck grip tape was ripped. With use it continued to peel and tear...it's about 1.5"x1.5" in size. We have worked to contain the rip and should be okay with normal use. We recommend this skateboard. Note: we also purchased protective gear for the skater.

Have had a few of the cheaper amazon skateboards, and this one falls behind a bit. its only 7.75" wide instead of advertised 8" wide. The art is kinda matte, and the wood grain sticks through it a lot, does not feel or look like it was finished very well as a result, and claims of being waterproof I question.
