I've always wanted to get into skating but have only used cheap Walmart boards in the past which ended up being hard to use due to bad quality. Its definitely worth the extra $50 to get this quality board like this one as its much easier to start learning how to ride it. I got this board when I didn't have one that was usable. It has good trucks, smooth wheels, and a sick-looking deck. My only problem is that the grip is too adhesive and cuts my hands when I carry it. Otherwise, I would recommend buying this.
