I’ve been skating for years — longboards, cruisers, DIY setups — you name it. So when I picked up the Dnaskate V20, I wasn’t just looking for a toy. I wanted something that could handle serious terrain and still feel like a real board under my feet, not some kids scooter. Two weeks in, I’m impressed to say the least! I ride in a hilly area, and this thing eats elevation like it’s nothing. Streets, sidewalks, even a bit of off-road — the V20 holds its own. The acceleration is smooth and intuitive, and the braking system is dialed in. (TIP: turn on the remote, hold the school wheel down, and press on function button to change the brake level). I never feel like I’m fighting the board, even on steep descents, I can enjoy the thrill of flying downhill and start braking near the bottom. Top speed? Honestly, it’s faster than I’m ready for — but that’s a good thing. It means I won’t outgrow it anytime soon. There’s room to push my limits when I’m ready, and that’s exactly what I want in a board. Battery life has been solid. I get 2–3 days per charge, even with all the hill climbing. On flat ground, it lasts even longer. That’s more than I expected, and it’s a huge win for anyone who rides hard. The build is where this thing really shines. It’s got flex, but it’s sturdy — like a tank with grip tape. Really happy with my skateboard. It feels sturdy, handles smoothly and feels powerful. Very easy to setup and pairing. I still have to try the higher speeds, but not sure I’m ready to handle it yet. Definitely a lot of fun. (A few weeks later - updates). Still stoked with my new toy. On average the battery runs for ~25 miles. A lot for me! DNA customer service is also top. I reached out to them directly to order some extra spare parts and they were super responsive and professional.

This is one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time, the ride is excellent, super fast for me, and as fun as it is dangerous if that’s what you’re into. I am! Invest in pads! I would recommend this V20 or V4 (the same gear just different board design) to anyone interested, great product and the best customer service possible! I have two of them, I purchased the V20 90mm first and love them both, I must say that I like the 120mm best for its ability to smooth the sidewalk better but they’re both awesome! Wheels are replaceable with a variety of designs through the DNASKATE site, make sure they’re hub sleeve wheels for V20/V4 for this brand only though, I don’t know if all hubs are the same, I would think not.

This board fell apart going down the road. Literally, the wheel fell off. It could’ve been catastrophic. Had we not heard the wheel beginning to rattle loose. Amazon customer service has been horrible on this rather than being able to use the warranty, because we don’t have the board for less than a month. Amazon customer service required that we ship the item back and it doesn’t matter how quickly they receive the item because it’s over $300 they will not process a refund. This is my only form of transportation, and we rely for him to get to jobs and be able to go nearly anywhere. I’m sure it could’ve just been a fluke with this particular board from this particular seller made by this particular manufacturer, but Amazon‘s policy to not refund any items over $300 for at least 30 days no matter how quickly you ship it back to them is ridiculous . My advice to anyone is to wait until it passes 30 days and use your warranty.

DNAskate makes a great board. First of all it arrived early. Always nice. This board is amazing. The fit and finish are amazing. It looks like a monster truck skateboard. It surpassed all my expectations. Im a big rider 250lbs. It has no problem getting up and down large hills. The cloud wheels alow me to go over almost anything without concern. I am very happy with my purchase. Highly recomended, especially for the price point.

These are great boards. The cloud wheel upgrade is a lot better for rough roads and better going over the cracks in sidewalks. What surprised me was that the larger diameter wheels make the board have less torque and less brake performance. It’s night and day I’ve owned both with and without the cloud wheels. If you want torque on the v20, get regular 90mm wheels. If you want more cushion, get the cloud wheels but you’ll pay for it in acceleration. Ooh look at this! I designed and 3d printed some pretty sweet splash guard fenders for riding when it’s wet! I get about 5 months out of these boards riding daily rain or shine. If it’s raining, I’ll wrap the board with seran wrap to keep the enclosures dry but the fenders are a must have

So much fun...definitely get the 120 wheels. This is my second Eskateboard...my last one was underpowered and had terrible vibration on just regular asphalt. This board is how I originally imagined what riding around would be like. I've taken it on various greenways and trails...I mean it not truly offroad....but its the perfect mix between street and trail. Good battery life...even in my area where it's fairly hilly.

Very fast recommend larger 110 size wheels or larger. Like a 120 wheel for all terrain would rule the rough roads and trails. Well it actually does great on local trails. Durable is its main feature I enjoy. Larger wheels helps and hills are not a problem what so ever. 35 / grade no problem. It’ drains the battery real quick so don’t do it to long and not always full throttle either. The range of speed it’s the braking is incredible.
