We were very impressed with several things: 1. The quality of the TV stand. Very well made, holes lined up fine. 2. Directions -yes it's pictures but if you orient the pieces according to the pictures it goes very smoothly. Each piece was numbered and each little part was lettered. 3. There were spare parts so when we broke two of the little round pieces there were extra included in the bag labeled spare parts. It is heavy. Took 2 of us and a dolly to move it into the room. Two people are also handy to help turn it around during installation. We got the light rustic oak and the color is very well done. This was fairly easy to assemble. It took two of us about 3 hours but it is beautiful. It did arrive damaged as there was a large slice on the side of the box. It's important to know that a designated outlet is required for the heater. Extension cord is not allowed, nor having something else plugged into the same outlet. So, I cannot use the heater. I searched for a long time before I settled on this model and the outlet issue aside, I am not disappointed because I really wanted the ambiance of a fireplace. ... show more

As you can see by the photo, the console fits snugly into the space it was intended for. This is a very heavy and stable piece of furniture, and we were pleasantly surprised at its quality considering the fair price. I spent most of an afternoon putting it together. I took inventory to make sure there were no missing pieces. The hardware comes in bags labeled from A-Z (there’s a lot of hardware) and the boards are numbered 1-20. The instructions were very clear. Follow the directions precisely, as some pieces look the same, but they may be slightly different, as in pieces 4,5,6&7. (They’re exactly the same size, but the pieces that attach to them are different.) I put a drop of the glue on each end of the dowels as I inserted them, even though I’m not sure that makes a difference. Our piece looks professionally built, all parts fit snug and square. The fake flame is quite realistic, but I wish it was a little more colorful, as in a few blue and red flames, but I’m satisfied anyway. The heater has a quiet blower and we think it will serve the purpose of helping to warm this 12 x 16 room in the winter. Our chairs are about 8 feet from it and we could feel the heat, but it’s summer, so we only tried that out for a couple minutes. All in all, we’re very happy with this product. ... show more

This took quite a bit of time to assemble, but it was totally worth the effort. Well constructed and sturdy. The supplied extra parts bag was welcome. The instructions were not optimal, but I figured it out. This is a heavy unit and that's a good thing. Details like the back panels sliding into place and screwed in to be secured was way better then a bunch of tiny nails through cardboard. Overall I would recommend this TV stand, if you have the patience to put it together. ... show more

this fireplace entertainment center is soooo cute! I was looking at furniture stores and they wanted $900 or more which I couldn't afford. this one is exactly what I was wanting. I got the white and it matches my farmhouse themed living room perfectly.

The box was damaged at some point during shipping. We were worried the product would be damaged, but it wasn't! It was encased in Styrofoam and wood. It's a nice TV stand for the money. Not the quickest to assemble, but would recommend. My only suggestion is to have some extra wood glue on hand because they really don't send enough. ... show more

It was a bit of work, but the directions were easy to follow. This is a very well made piece of furniture that was a great value. It is beautiful, the fireplace warms my living room to a very comfortable feel.
