**For this review please keep in mind I am Beginner at growing indoors and I only grow veggies and not cannabis.** To start with, mine arrived well packaged, all components were present, and upon testing everything worked as expected. Instructions and setup are very simple, and setting up in my 3x3x6 growing tent took maybe 15 minutes and that was because I was adding a power strip and timer to my setup. **Just a note to the manufacturer a power cable longer than 4ft , in my opinion would be better.** The light is well ventilated and does not seem to run that hot. Having the included thermometer was nice because I was able to see that if I closed up the tent all the way, the inside temp. would reach about 86 degrees. (this is with no ventilation fan, only a small fan blowing on my plants) For me this is perfect because during the winter my basement is about 55 degrees. The light output of this 1500W LED is awesome. Currently I have two pepper plants growing with the kratky method and several other pepper seedlings germinating or just sprouting and they love this light. I did have to raise the light all the way up because the leaves started to curl, I think the heat energy was too much and they weren't used to it yet. (The plants were orginally started under a 500W HPS Light). I think if I would have bought the Phlizon 600W I would have been fine, but now that my plants are more established they are thriving like crazy. **PHLIZON if you're reading this and want to sponser me a 600W I would not be sad or upset....LOL** While this review may not be technical over the specs of this particular model, overall I am extremely satisfied with my Phlizon 1500W High Power Series LED Grow Light and if my grow room ever expands, Phlizon will be on my purchase list. ... show more

    • Great light, well built, works great!
This was my first 1500w Led light. I have since purchased 2 more from different manufacturers just to see the differences. I have been using this light for about 6 months now, and its done really well. There was definitely a learning curve with light distance from plants, a few were damaged. I have found that keeping the light around 4ft above seedlings/clones, 3ft above small plants, 2ft right before flower, then 1-2ft above for flowering has worked well and kept the plants from "too much light" strain. Worked well alone in a 4'x4'x6'h tent. It runs a little warm compared to the others, but its one of the brightest and quietest. ... show more

Works great for veg, plants definitely shown improvement in growth and were happy under this light as long as it was kept at a night of at least 18 inches away or less. Very bright so I recommend getting protective glasses.

2018 Works great! Purchased it for my lemon tree. Hopefully it will bring it back to life! We don't get a lot of light in Ohio during the winter ☹️ 2019-November This light worka wonders! It revived my lemon tree enough for the summer. This summer it grew like crazy, now that it is November it's dropping leaves a little but the light keeps it alive through the winter! ... show more

The light works just fine. It will serve our needs in rhe grow tent it has been installed in. There was a slight problem (the temperature/humidity meter had been broken in manufacturing.) We contacted Phlizon with the issue after Amazon, the fulfillment agent said there was nothing they could do. Phlizon sent a new unit immediately. You cant ask for more than that. ... show more

I know absolutely nothing about grow lights. I picked this model for the high wattage and CE certification and took my chances. We have it set up in the garage on our hydroponic farm and we are very satisfied with the results. The fans keep the lamps cool, but probably not designed for indoor living space. The light kinda messes with my eyes, so garage is good. These plants were started from seed about two months ago and have been under the lamp for about six weeks. Already harvesting basil. The lettuces and greens are doing well. Moving the tomatoes to DWC containers tmrw. Check it out, ... show more

    • Received a different unit than pictured and runs very hot
I purchased the 1500w, which was shown with a single on-off power switch. The received unit had two, a Veg and Bloom switch. It had Zero instructions on how to use the switches, which other lights with dual controls specified. I hung 24" above my seedlings as specified in the unit instructions and quickly noticed that it was burning my plants. I tested in a tent with intake and exhaust fans and measured that with both switches on, it raised the temperature 9*F. My other light with twice the actual wattage only raised the temperature 1*. I am returning the unit and would avoid it. If you look at the wattage, the description has a different wattage as the picture. ... show more

Very nice light good price excellent customer service this is my second light from same company. Only thing is this 1500w runs really hot and doesn’t give you the switch options for veg flower bloom and full but can’t complain
