I was about to splurge on an HLG or mammoth and I found this for next to nothing. It runs really cool (80s-89 max) for an integrated ballast and the diodes are perfect. I had to turn it down cause the plants weren’t stretching how I like in a 5x5 footprint. Really big pro and confirmed in person: they have the expected diodes and color spectrum I wanted, nothing sketchy or wasted. It’s super solid, just give it a test run since there’s some bad reviews on wiring and it’s direct from shenzen. Con: controlling with AC infinity 69 pro controller it flickers at 1v using the type A adapter. It’s unfortunate they don’t use the full 0-10v range as expected so minus 1 star. The light would turn off after being on for only a few moments. I took the cover off and noticed that the wires connected to the power switch were all melted together. I replaced the power switch and wired it properly, and now the light works great. The unit I received was poorly assembled, but nothing a little rework doesn't take care of. After replacing the power switch and cleaning up some poorly routed wires, the light fixture is great. The plants love it. ... show more

This is a big light, that puts out a ton of light to help your plants to grow. I have been using this light for almost two months with excellent success. So far, I have only used this in the vegetative stage, but I will update after flowering. 1) This is light is big and heavy. In the past I have used several of the small Phlizon lights, but my 3' X4' tent required at least four of them. This light literally barely fits (see pick) and I probably should have ordered the 4500, but I get complete light coverage with no gaps or bright spots. 2) This light has no fan but manages to stay cool. The aluminum heat dissipators stay cool to the touch, which really surprised me, despite being in a small enclosed space. I do run a small fan, but it is probably not necessary. 3) Output spectrum seems complete and certainly does a great job vegetatively. 4) I have been running these at 60% power. My Kasa outlet tells me it is drawing 548 watts. Intensity of the light can be adjusted but it is an adjustment from 50% to 100% as opposed to 0-100%. Not an issue for most uses. 5) The light is heavy at around 40lbs. Fortunately, the light has heavy duty eye hook to hang it, and the aluminum poles in my tent are strong enough to hold it. Phlizon includes nice hanging equipment, but it will take two people to hang it. 6) This is a professional quality light that is well built and solid. 7) Price wise, I would consider this an excellent value. Outside of Phlizon, I have used a number of LED light for saltwater reef aquarium, including Aqua Illuminations. Those lights are typically about 5X more expensive but much more tunable in terms of output and wavelengths of light emitted. However, that level of control is certainly not necessary for this application. I will add that I have used smaller Phlizon lights in the past. About half of those lights typically go bad after about 1-3 years of use. However, Phlizon has replaced them, but with a large shipping charge. So I would give their customer service an A. This one has a three year warranty, is much better quality build, and I have had no problems, but it still might be worth getting the Amazon protection.     • Works great.. At first! One cycle in and now it's stuck on like 20%

First cycle these put out a great amount of light, they didn't get too hot and were pretty easy to set up. Mine never unfolded evenly; one side was always slightly cocked. Which was okay I guess; I'd tolerate and just use a level when making adjustments. Well now using them for their second like 100 day cycle, they're stuck on about 20% brightness. The dimmer was never quite accurate as about 20-50% was about the same, then immediately blinds you around 70-80% until 100%. Now I can look directly at them without any sort of eye protection and I've got extremely sensitive eyes. Kind of wish I'd have gone another route. Their warranty policy demands I keep the box with every single piece of original packaging. Tell that to my pit bull puppies who ate the box while I was hanging it. So I am probably SOL on a $400 light that I took a gamble on for the price point. Penetration sucks, these are over glorified shop lights at this point :/ ... show more

These lights were recommended by a growing friend. I got two of these lights for a 5x10 tent. I only used the first one for my summer grow. I hooked the 2nd one up a few months later and 2 of the bars didn’t come on. I contacted them. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I had the new one within a week. Then I sent the other one back in that box. Dropped it off at UPS. I love these lights! My PAR is perfect. I ran 5 autos in 10g pots for the first 1/2 of my grow. I got over 4 lbs return. Tried both A and B dongles. AC Infinity 69pro controller will not recognize light with A dongle. Installed B dongle and light shows up on controller and app. But there is no handshake. Not sure but it Phlizon wants a market here they need to have the latest drivers and firmware. Not compatible. Will not risk my investment with this light. Just ordered a competitor that is compatible. Figure I had better pay once than get stuck with this monster. Its a big brite light btw. But not for me. Would not buy again. ... show more

Finally got the chance to revise the grow area and hang this light. First off the end plate where the power switch is located is badly bent. Absolutely no package damage and the area that is damaged was encased in soft foam meaning this occurred at the manufacturer. It was boxed and shipped anyway. I live in the middle of nowhere in Alaska and returning anything has been a nightmare. Switch functions. Just be sure to totally unbox these lights on delivery because an intact box means nothing. Hanging it is a snap. Power cord is secured plug with threaded collar retainer but no stress relief on the cord itself. Hardware for hanging is sufficiently strong. Dimmer is variable and not click settings. Seems durable enough. Edit add: overlook the reviews saying this light can’t produce flower. It can and it does. I have an eight by nine area with 7 ft ceilings and in this area I put two of the-6500, and 2-4000. This canopies the whole room with a couple feet at each outside along wall. Used to run 2-1000 and 2-600 HID with a 900$ electric bills (summer). Bills down to 600$ and room is running a lot less stressful. Much less radiant heat near the ceiling and it allows a taller grow. HIDs usually produced about 3 lb. Now with the LEDs I getting 6 lb. Same plants so I trust the results are very accurate. Plants had a lot more room because canopy light is evenly distributed above them and they really seem to like the light spectrum. I do not know if this company is using Samsung spectrum diodes as I have seen no information so I do not know how long they will last, but for now they are working. ... show more

This is the second light I have purchased from this company on Amazon. I have been perfectly happy with both purchases. This light has been working wonders on our plants, I noticed the difference right away when moving up to this light from the smaller model. The features of the light are great, super bright, adjustable, and love that it folds in the middle if needed. The only slight complaint I have with all of these lights is the hanging mechanisms are not great, wish it came with hardware to hang it a bit straighter this is just a small complaint.
