I've already switched over to serpentine belts on my '87 318 and the brackets match right up to what I already modified. Put this on the tester and it's pushing out more than enough juice for this old motor and electric components. For the price, if this lasts me a year or 2 I will have no complaints. ... show more

This alternator does not carry the proper regulator for my 2006 Volvo XC90, causes "Power System Service Urgent" message and red warning light on dashboard. I had to buy a proper regulator separately and retrofit. Just the additional in-and-out is a MAJOR PITA..
