  • Good sound and build but multipoint functionality doesnt work
Style: Fidelio | ANC PRO+ Color: Black
Bought this along with the L3 when it was recently reduced in price. Pros: Good selection of ear tips, settled on the smallest foam tips provided. Build quality is excellent, feels first rate in the hand, size not really a problem and didnt feel too heavy when wearing. Sound quality is very good, good bass, better than my Jabra Elite 7 Active, and mids and treble is smooth, feels very open and brings out a lot detail in the music. Battery life also seems good, listened for about 2 hours with little drain. App worked after a bit of a fiddle in the beginning but once connected was able to upgrade firmware, change the ANC and select one of the 4 preset eq's. Cons: Main con is the multipoint functionality; while it easily connects to more than one headset it doesnt switch between them automatically; it always connects to the last device it connected to and ignores any signal coming from other paired devices unless you manually connect in BT settings. In contrast my Jabra connects to both my phones when it starts up and can switch seamlessly between the two without having to enter the phone's BT settings. Tried a reset and repair but no change. Second con is the controls cant be changed from default so you cant change from functions not used like voice assistant to useful things like volume control so effectively only the right headset is useful for controlling music so you have to use your phone or other device like a smartwatch. lastly, there are only 4 preset EQ options so you cant fully customize the sound to your liking which would have been really useful. Conclusion: overall I feel the T1 is a good headset, no real complaints on sound quality though it would have been useful to be able to fully tweak the sound to get it perfect. Unfortunate about the issues pointed out but I fully expect them to never be fixed so I just use it as a simple TWS with good quality and hope other options are available when its time to upgrade. ... show more

  • Great headphones for those with bigger ears
Style: Fidelio | ANC PRO+ Color: Black
Pros: - Sound quality is very strong for a variety of different types of music. Highs are clear, base is well balanced, mid tones tend to get muffled with any significant bass. Note – Most music was through Pandora/Spotify so source wasn’t HD - Battery – Great battery life, lasts forever - Design – Quality components and feel, leather top on the case is a nice touch. Headphones also felt very solid and could withstand abuse. - Out of box experience – Good packaging and docs showcasing the product. Initial setup was very easy. - Noise reduction/cancellation strong – Did not test these on the plane, but when working in the office it blocked out most noise. Ambient hearing was a nice to have option. Cons: - Call clarity – Some calls had static mid-way through the call, not sure why but it could have been due to my connection - Design is painful over time – I'd argue my ears are slightly smaller than average, so after using for 1-2hrs straight they started hurting the edges of my ears. Could not wear these for prolonged periods of time - Fit – Never felt as though they were ever fully secure in my ears and was always concerned about them falling out. Again, might be more of an issue for small-medium sized ears Note – I tried multiple ear tips, still felt loose regardless. - Size – Charging case is very solidly built, but also large and heavy. Although not an issue for at home use or as a business traveler, I don’t see the average person wanting to carry these around in a pocket every day. It could also be an issue for those with small bags/purses. Testing Time: 4 Weeks Usage: Work & Travel ... show more

  • Love the design. If it can stay in your ears.
Style: Fidelio | ANC PRO+ Color: White
One of the best-sounding earbuds to date. A hybrid design, with a dynamic driver, plus a balanced armature. Many including myself were not happy with the fit. The problem is, is that the canal is way too short for a secure and sealed insertion. I fixed that by using XL silicone tips, plus a double flange silicone tip, on the left side which was more challenging to fit. But I managed to do so. There are so many brand tips out there, that you might have to invest in a few different sizes to get the fit you want. Personally, I think it's worth it, cause of the current price of 150$, down a 100$. Patience is a virtue. UPDATE: 11/14/2022 Well, it's only fair to admit that. As much as I like these buds, I think I'm going to return them. Because they are just too large, and short, in order to make a good secure insertion, they jut don't work for (my experience now) me. A disappointment, no less. Now the left side bud, is acting up and not working according to what's expected. The button is activating itself arbitrarily, all on its own. Now both earpieces are acting up. If it continues, as it just did. I shall return them. I'm effing annoyed at this point, cause I've tested numerous buds, simply trying to find something I'd be happy with. And it's been one long journey, a drawn-out quest to find something worthy of keeping. I'm going back to the Beats Studios. Which sound excellent, in my opinion. But. And this is a big but. The battery life isn't the best. But I'm gonna keep them, I think. We'll see. Oh, and yeah. The (yep, three attempts was made to, to determine whether I'd keep the T1's, sadly to no avail) third t1 made me reverse my saying they sounded good. Because man, they sounded awful. The treble was super bloated, and unbalanced. To the point where I couldn't keep them in my ears for longer than a few seconds. Whoever tuned these should be fired. That's if they were tuned. They make tuning out to be a big deal, as if only certain people can do it. Which doesn't hold water. Because so many of these earbuds sound bad, really bad. One more thing. This was my experience with these buds. Not yours, but mine. It might be different for (you may have positives results) you, which I hope. But for me, it was a bust. ... show more
