They are inexpensive, so how good could they really work? … EXTREMELY WELL! So well I almost wish I could go back into denial about how filthy the washer is that was supposed to be making my clothes clean! 🤢 I’m a renter and our front loading washer came with the house. When I looked inside the slot that houses the detergent and fabric softener to add to the load it was THICK with black sludge and smelled sulfurous. The drain tube and lint trap at the bottom of the washer was the same too. I had thought it was clean because I don’t use much soap, rarely use fabric softener, often use distilled white vinegar instead of fabric softener and used and entire bottle of Clorox tub cleaner over the last 5 months on this machine, nope. After a week it looks smell sulphuric again. I had never thought to reach inside the washer detergent dispensing area or behind the lint trap… shudders in disgust, It’s a 2009ish washer. It’s been used a long time. First time I used this I did not scrub anything. Just popped it in, the rinse water was grey! I could not see through the water I drained from the lint filter. There was also grit and bits of crunchy stuff. I pulled out the soap dispenser and it was still black. I realized the cleaner doesn’t flow in that direction 🤦♀️, so I took the soap trays apart and cleaned thoroughly. Even used my water pick to squirt water farther than I could reach to see if I got the black slime dislodged. Same for the door gasket! I’m doing the 2nd tub cleaner load now. Water is still grey but light gray and I can see through it easily. I can also see chunks of black in there too. I’m assuming it’s the mold/black slime I dislodged. I will update you if something unexpected happens. I’m expecting with the dramatic before and after I had, this is going to be even better! First pass removed that nasty 🤢 smell and the tub and glass parts were shining like new. I didn’t know it was shiny chrome instead of matte nickel, which I now understand was the severity of the soap scum and hard water stains. I’m only using this from now on AND I’m going to try this brands dishwasher tabs on my dishwasher too! I WISH I had taken pictures, but I honestly thought it was going to do a craptastic job because it wasn’t a Clorox product. Holy smokes was I wrong. This stuff is amazing! ... show more

I was skeptical and so was my man. But we figured we would give it a try. First attempt we pulled out so much gunk and disgusting sludge out of the washer we had to run a second cycle just to see if more came out! So glad we did! The washer n dryer came with the house when we moved in 1 yr ago and we kept smelling something but couldn't figure out where the hell it was coming from, not anymore! It was the wash machine! We even removed the agitator and found gross sludge inside! Clean it all out and now it fresh and clean! Believe me when I say I have tried bleach and vinegar rinses but this little tablet worked!     • Well, most people probably need this, but don’t wait too long to use it…

We have an older washer and dryer. We’ve been through a lot of washing , and dirty , sandy, clothing, as well as hard water. I wish i had known about cleaning out a washer sooner. I guess i was just too busy…cleaning out your own washer, is not normally high on my to do list..call me a slug if you want..oh well. But when you start to get residue on your clothing, especially darker items, this will get your attention really quick !! Oh, no….now i have to hand wash the items..a lot of hassle. But cleaning out the washer..that’s getting at the root of the problem. But..as i said, our washer is old..there i said it . Since i waited , way too long , wiping it out doesn’t help. Using the DIY methods of hot water and vinegar didn’t either. So..i bought this product. I ended up using it twice. I will say it helped some, it seemed to loosen up the worst of the filthy stuff that was in there…which is what ended up on our pants and tshirts- a fine lint mixed with dirt that embeds in the fabrics. I wiped that stuff out- seemed like alot. ..not in the basket area where the washing takes place…this residue was primarily in the underneath upper area edges..not really easy to get to, but reach up in there..its there. Well, I haven’t done laundry since that cleaning YET..but I’ll update and let you know. Now, you know my dirty little secret..my washer is old and has a dirty attitude, that i hope cleaned up its act..so to speak:) The moral to this long tale is this. However old or new your washer is, clean it out. If it’s old or older, use these tablets and hope for the best. I would say they work well..for me it loosened up the worst stuff, and that’s probably all it needed. We shall see. I hope this helps someone ... show more

In the past I've used the afresh slow dissolving tablets and used the tub clean cycle on my washer and a lot of gunk would always be left over and I would have to wipe out and do a rinse cycle 3 or 4 times to get it all completely gone so I decided to give this a try and im so glad I did! After the tub clean cycle was over I opened the lid and it smelled clean and hardly any left over gunk! I ran 1 rinse cycle and that's all I needed I highly recommend this product!! ... show more

We have hard water and the clothes/towels smell funky when they are damp from use or wearing them out when it’s hot you begin to sweat. I ran these tablets through the washer and even after the first run there was black stuff in the basket. I’ve run a total of 6 tablets through the machine so far and each time more black stuff came out. Really have not noticed a reduction in the smell yet but is is removing buildup that’s not visible without taking the washer apart. ... show more

I like how clean my dishwasher and washing machine are now. The tablets are very easy to use and don’t leave any kind of odor. I wish it was clearer that the two types are shrink wrapped together. The on site picture shows two separate boxes. I only got one box so assumed I got the wrong thing (products can be purchased separately or together.) I sent one back for a replacement and went to the manufacturer website when I got the same thing again. Anyway, I like the product and think it works well, I tend to neglect cleaning inside appliances.
