This is my second Phillips toothbrush. My first lasted over 10 years. This one is even better than my first. Its siplicity in function is my first comment, but I really have to say this thing vibrates like a hummingbird on steroids. I had my other sonicare for about 4 years and it finally died. When I went online to buy another one I was amazed they were $100-$400! I wanted something that worked well for a mid level price. When I used this vs the other one I had I immediately felt a difference. The power is softer but still brushed my teeth really well. I also like the soft bristle brush they send with the toothbrush. It’s small enough to brush the spots between my wisdoms teeth coming in. I have only used the clean setting so far and haven’t tried the gum care or whitening setting yet but I’m super satisfied. I’ve used the Phillips Sonicare battery powered toothbrush since 2018. I recently purchased my 3rd brush. These last a long time with my first lasting 4 yrs and the next for 3 years. The cost of this model has remained consistent over the last several years. These work well, hold up over time and help maintain my gum health. This model brush has different settings for whatever maintenance you want to address, whether it’s cleaning, whitening or gum health. Easy to understand and use and recharges after about a month of use and will fully charge over night. Do not keep the brush in its charging stand as it will degrade and shorten the life of the battery. This toothbrush is great! I love it. My first experience with an electric toothbrush was an oral b one I bought at the grocery store because it was on sale. I actually really liked it and had it for years. My husband was talked into buying a different kind by our dentist after he had a root canal. He was a bit loopy so agreed to buy two of them and they were terrible. But he had already thrown our other ones out so this is what we were left with. I hated it but didn’t want to buy another one and waste the money. It died after every use. It was just the worst. I think it was called pro sys. I wouldn’t recommend them. Anyway I got off track. This Philips toothbrush is great. My teeth feel very clean after brushing. I like the different mode options, different brush head options and best of all the battery lasts so long! I went on a weekend trip with this toothbrush and didn’t bring my charger. I didn’t need it. Then I didn’t charge it for about 2 weeks after getting home and it was still working fine all that time! Finally it let me know it was time to charge it but I was impressed with how long the battery lasted. It will also alert you when it’s time to change the brush head. If you’re looking for a efficient toothbrush and not worried about apps and other bells and whistles so brushes come with this is a perfect choice. ... show more

This is a happy medium for price vs. quality and features. The indy reviews agree and that is why I chose this one. I do not care about tracking (and try to reduce my digital footprint whenever possible [which doesn't do that much, I know]), so this unit is the best for me. It has all the basic Sonicare bells and whistles and it is slimmer than the lower end units.
