I’ve been using the Sonicare 7300 for a few weeks now and it’s made a noticeable difference in how clean my teeth feel. The pressure sensor is genuinely useful — it lights up if I’m brushing too hard, which I didn’t realize I was doing with my old brush. The SmarTimer keeps me honest about brushing the full two minutes, and it pulses every 30 seconds to remind you to switch quadrants. Having 12 different brushing settings might sound like overkill, but I actually use a few of them — the gum care mode is gentler on my gums, and the whitening setting feels more thorough for the odd coffee stain. Battery life is excellent — I’m easily getting close to the advertised 21 days on a single charge, so I’m not scrambling to find the charger during travel. The included travel case is a nice touch and keeps everything protected in my bag. Only minor gripe: it’s a bit pricier than a standard electric toothbrush, and replacement brush heads add up over time. But for the overall brushing experience and results, it’s worth it. This is my THIRD Philips Sonicare in my lifetime. I'm old. I have good teeth and I take care of them. My dental hygienist tells me I'm one of her favorite patients. It's the toothbrush my dentist from years ago recommended and I absolutely love the brand. It's great for my gums as well as my teeth. It is GREAT value for the money and the fact that in my lifetime, I'm on my third (I'm 76), I think that's a very good brand recommendation. And it's very lightweight and easily transported. I like the white because I feel like I can see that it's pristine and clean. Nice design that lets me twist the bristles up and down along each tooth. Love it and highly recommend it. The whitening depends more on dentifrice being used, I believe, and the fact that one brushes multiple times a day. Check with your dentist on details for whitening.

It feels more powerful, cleans my teeth better, and I really like the pressure sensor and different brushing settings. This puppy is miles beyond my ten year old Sonicare, and also various newer models from other brands. Faster vibrations, stronger cleaning, more settings, much longer battery life. Definitely the best electric toothbrush I've used. Use it with a good tooth powder, activated charcoal, baking soda, clay, or better still alternate between a few of these, and your dental bills will quickly shrink. At fifty during prime week, this was a steal. Even at double that, it's definitely worth it. PS Use generic heads, they're 10% the price of Phillips heads and almost as good.

Awesome toothbrush with alot of settings and this model comes with their best brush heads. Excellent battery life and cleaning. And it should be improved durability over their older models. My last one lasted 6 years. But what were they thinking with the charging options. The puck is hardwired to a USB-A and the travel case is a USB-A to a 2 pin push connector and no charging brick... What year is this? I don't think I could come up with a worse charging setup.

this toothbrush is a good value for the money, since it is packaged with a charging base, travel case, and 3 replacement toothbrush heads. You can also set it up to auto deliver the heads when they get worn out. The auto delivery is easy to do, just follow the instructions that will be on the Amazon website. The appearance is black, with other colors available. The size is right for the use by family members of all ages that are capable of using it. The handle is durable and sturdy. The handle is light weight and not too heavy to use. The vibration will take some getting used to, as it tickles the gums, for first time users. It will clear up in about a week or so. It has green LEDs that show the current charge, then turn amber when you need to change the brush head. I recommend it to anybody that needs a reliable toothbrush, that isn't a hard-to-find item.

My Sonicaire Diamond became wobbly and loose. It was no longer taking care of tartar buildup. So happy I replaced it with this one. (The Diamond reviews at the time of my purchase were not good especially for the price point so I chose this one.) Love the travel charger, effectiveness I once had of tartar removal & overall cleanliness. To me, the value is good and it’s sleek and easy to travel with. The initial charge has lasted so far 2 weeks. Bristles are firm but will soften.

Excellent Toothbrush, Poor Sonicare App Design

The toothbrush, itself, is ruggedly built. And the stand and the travel case both can charge the phone. That's nice. The brushes are long and narrow and the end to reach into the small part of the mouth the near the cheek. These are the good points. A big down is the wasted opportunity that is the Sonicare app. As it relates to the 7300, the visual prompts as you brush are limited and not well thought out. There are set times for each of the cleaning modes (i.e., Clean, Sensitive, Gum Health, etc). The time allotted for each region of your mouth is set, not customizable, and doesn't make for great practice. And there's not If you think about it, there are really eight zones each in the lower and upper parts of your mouth. There's front and back, left, center and right, and the left and right chewing surfaces. So sixteen total surfaces to brush. In the Clean mode, the app gives you two minutes total. It divides the upper and lower halves of the mouth into only three regions. Well, if you only have two minutes to complete all of your brushing, then that's one minute total for each of the top and bottom parts of your mouth. That means, for three regions, you have only 20 seconds per region. But the left and right parts of your mouth have THREE surfaces to clean - front, chewing surface, and back, while the center only has front and back. And, if you think about it, the front is, like, two teeth. So graphically, the app is telling you (It prompts you to move to the next section after 20 seconds) to spend only 20 seconds over three surfaces which encompass more area, while telling you to devote 20 seconds to two surfaces, each encompassing a much smaller area. The app is supposed to help you be more effective at brushing. But there's nothing in the app nor online (nor in the printed documention) that instructs you how to interpret or effectively use the app. Only in the MUCH more expensive 9000 series brushes, which have a more sophisticated sensor, does the brush give you live guidance as to how you're doing. I called Philips customer service and they acknowledge that the interface in the app is very generic. That's a developer issue. There are articles that suggest holding the brush at a 45° angle, and to let the brush do the job of brushing rather than you scrubbing. But in terms of the graphic interface as you're brushing, it's practically useless. If you choose the Clean mode, it shuts off after two minutes, so if you wish to spend more time brushing, you have to start another cycle. One of the modes adds two more zones (an extra front for each the top and bottom), and raises the total time to 3:20, but doesn't explain such or how to use it in the documentation. It's just a poorly designed app for a retail $200 product. To have to spend almost double on the 9000 series to get a useful app interface is silly. So if you're too buy this, know that the toothbrush, itself, is effective and seems to be well-built and designed. But to use it, use your own instincts and ignore the graphic interface when your brushing. To me, a lost opportunity by Philips to instruct you to brush better.
