I don't know what Phillips engineers think. You will get a trimmer itself and a pile of attachments. The included tiny soft travel case is almost useless. A must-buy " BOVKE Hard Travel Case for Philips Multigroomer All-in-One Trimmer Series 7000 MG7750/49 and Attachments" Otherwise it is a total disaster to handle the trimmer. Not clear why the power connector is not USB but an uncommon type. Philips produces dozens of different trimmer model series. Prices rise exponentially with the first digit. Philips is the major player in this space and has produced a solid product. The battery life, construction and accessories is top notch. BUT, there is a problem that isn't a deal breaker, but shouldn't be a problem at all. The problem is the power button is too prominent and is located exactly where you thumb wants to be while your shaving. They both have sensitive skin that breaks out if they use trimmers that pull the hair or cut unevenly. I generally like this product. Hefty feel, good blades. But the placement of the power switch is awful. It's right where your hand rests when in use, and it accidentally switches off when you least expect it. The poor design of the switch could be an easy fix.

This is a quality trimmer (metal construction) with very good battery life and quality parts. Lots of attachments, also comes with a nice carrying case to hold everything. The only problem is an annoying detail that should have been obvious enough to never have made a problem: the power switch is located right where you physically hold on to the trimmer. So, it is quite easy to accidentally turn it off while you're using it. Such an obvious thing to have designed better. Still, I would recommend because it is good quality for the price, and surprisingly, many trimmers actually have this same flaw, so it's not even a downgrade from half the competition in that regard. ... show more

Great deal, it cuts thru hair very smoothly, no tugging.. Has an attachment for everything also. Charges very fast and lasts a decent amount of time. Only thing I didn't like is not being able to use it while it's plugged in.
