I absolutely love Philips Hue but this isnt super bright. Using in a single spotlight/downlight as a task light is limiting. Make it brighter (like 2X) then let us dim with the app to very low when we need to!

So I have regular GU10 bulbs in the kitchen. Fits, works as should to an excellent level....... BUT, normal bulbs have light output (glass) around the base of the cone so you get the spot light and the (i guess lets call it ambient) ambient light around the bulbs which i have 8. This only provides spot lighting so depending on your use might be an issue. Otherwise excellent (but pricey) product. ... show more

I have over 30 hue products in my home and these bulbs are probably my favorite. I use them for plant lights as well as plug-in wall sconces. Very easy to set up and produce great color.

unfortunately, all I can say is that these things are awesome, except my landlord did not like them so I had to return them because my landlord doesn’t understand technology or saving money on electricity bills.

I got these to put in a new light fixture in the kitchen. The lens on the bulbs that came with the fixture were smooth and these ones are textured which made it harder to install (fixture came with a suction cup to attach light bulbs with). These bulbs are not nearly as bright as the generic brand that came with the fixture. I really like Hue and the regular size bulbs are no issue. But aside from night time the lack of brightness is very noticeable. I would recommend if already have a Hue system but maybe there is another smart alternative. ... show more
