Very Nifty Invention. Providing versatility of options for Smart Lighting choices. Whereas not just only having to be dependent upon The Plug-in Smart Outlets ( which take up outlet space) or the need to Install The Smart Switches to your existing electrical wiring ( which for very old homes with old wiring is not always compatible with). So this was an awesome find that I came across, since I wanted to convert my outside Lamp-pole and indoor overhead lights to Smart Technology. We initially attempted to install a Smart Switch to my very old existing electrical wiring and it proved unfortunately to not be compatible. So I installed the Stand-Alone Smart Bluetooth Light bulbs instead. And they're now also synced in with ALEXA helping me to conserve on light consumption as I now have the ease of putting them on a time schedule. However, the Smart Bluetooth Lightbulbs were very difficult at first to get them to connect. Because my Outside Lamp-pole has a 3 Candle Shaped light bulb design and because they're all right next to one another it made it very tricky to get each one of them to link into their own separate signal. We learned that you have to hold your cell phone almost right next to each bulb as you repeatedly keep trying to get a connection. ... show more

Smart bulbs and very bright. It's difficult to find a bright candle bulbs needless to say that it also has to be smart bulbs. Usually you would find these with 450 lumin but this is 1100 lumin I think. It has definitely made my room a lot brighter.

I started buying Hue bulbs back before there were many other options for smart bulbs. I still prefer them because most of my bulbs are Hue and I like how they can be controlled and integrated into my Smart Assistant smart home, using Google Assistant voice control, and in my living room via Hue Sync box so they can sync to the colors on my TV. I am using these bulbs in a new light fixture above my dining table. While expensive, they do not disappoint. I can now dim them without having to install a dimmer, which doesn't always work well with LED bulbs. I do wish Hue would lower their prices a bit though, it's time. ... show more

I wanted to replace the bulbs in my front door porch. These worked perfectly and generate much less heat and, I assume, use less energy as well. They work fine with Siri and Apple HomeKit. I needed three but had to get packages of two. At least I have a spare!

I have 6 of these in two sconces by my front door. I like having the Philips Hue bulbs so I can set up routines to run whether we are home or not. Replacing the incandescent bulbs with these led bulbs will also save money.
