To me, this is superior to even the "normal" indoor Hue lightstrip because it has continuous lights, and not the segmented LEDs that you have on the other one. I used this to create under-the-bed moodlight, and it works perfectly for that. The power module is slightly bigger than for the indoor one, and the lightstrip itself is a little bulkier (to be weather resistant), but other than that it's a great product, that works similarly to all other products in the Hue line-up. ... show more

Love this light strip for my balcony. One note, the length Philips measures includes the cord, so be careful when measuring. Had I known that I would’ve purchased the longer one. Also this is my first light strip so I’m not sure if they’re all this way but this looks to have some waterproofing glue on one of the ends. When the light is on, it does dull the lights toward that end. It almost looks like an aftermarket repair, but since this is my first strip, I can’t be sure. ... show more
