The media could not be loaded. Became aware of this when visiting my sister. After the first cup, when I woke up in the morning, my brain was like "oooo, I get to have another delicious cup of coffee!" Growing pains: Disappointed with the first few cups, they tasted watered down and it felt tragic. Problem solved when I adjusted the grinder setting to slightly finer than factory settings and maxed out the "aroma" level for drinks. Also, I've always used heavy whipping cream as my coffee creamer, but it does not froth well in this machine so I've switched to whole milk for my cappuccinos and lattes. It froths beautifully. Now: The settings are right and I genuinely now have to fight the desire to have more coffee, every drink is amazing. Negative: I can only think of one. The milk level markings for drinks are difficult to see (pic included, but that's in good light). WHAT I LOVE (besides the delicious) - It runs a rinse cycle when you power it off (so don't leave your coffee under the dispenser when you push the power button or its gonna catch the flush) - Red float tells you when to empty the drip pan - It grinds the right amount of beans per drink, so no more separate grinder mess - If I start a drink without checking my water level, it pauses the cycle when it runs out. Just add water and it seems to continue where it left off -Aesthetically, the drinks are beautiful! I recommend clear glass for your frothy drinks just so you can enjoy the lovely layers. - Conveniently add a shot of espresso to any drink. No muss, no fuss. The Nerd Stuff: I paid about $600 pre-tax. As I understand it, this thing is guaranteed for 20,000 cups of coffee. -That's 3 cents per cup for use of the machine plus the cost of consumables (beans, milk, sweetener,etc). - If you brew 2 cups per day, this amounts to slightly more than 27 years of use. At first we were very disappointed. It takes quite a few cups (15ish) before it preforms like it’s supposed to. But after that we’ve been blown way. It really works great and produces a great cup of coffee. I’ve started doing a cappuccino and then add a coffee on top. I would definitely recommend this machine. It is a tad bit noisy but that to be expected for a machine that’s Grinding the beans and steaming the milk. The markings on the milk container are hard to see, but they’re really not important. I would leave a 6-Star rating if I could! Have tried sooooooo many different machines and presses. Finally landed on the perfect balance between a really great automatic coffee maker that was.... more than I wanted to spend, but less than I could afford to spend. Coffee is absolutely delicious with the beans we chose. Ceramic grinder does a wonderful job! If your on the fence like I was check out the reviews, and take the plunge. If you love coffee throughout the day or like me just one or two in the morning, you won't regret this machine! Its noisy when it grinds your fresh beans, temp for coffee is HOT which I love! Flavor is smooooooth, cleaning is a breeze, set up takes a minute, but carefully follow all directions during set up. One of the new things you might have to get use to is keeping a small craft, cup or bowl (see photo) to catch short rinse cycle it runs for the coffee side immediately before automatically shutting off when your finished making your cup and leave the machine unattended for some time while you enjoy your drink. This is our third machine in the past 2 weeks. We ordered a De'Longhi TrueBrew, a Tchibo Fully Automatic and this Philips 3200. De'Longhi TrueBrew $500+- could not consistently brew the same taste. This machine had a mind of its own. Plus an awful lot of grind left inside the machine. Its a cleaning nightmare. Tchibo Fully Automatic $370+ - best coffee we ever tasted. Machine decided to indicate "add beans" while the machine was indeed full of beans - so no start. Also a grind mess inside. Get your tech act together Tchibo and you will own the market for basic espresso/java machines. Returned. Philips 3200 - the most expensive at $800+, amazing coffee. the combo milk/java selections were barista comparable. This machine however was spewing another grinding mess. So we are returning but reordering and hoping for a better QC product. Don't let us down Philips 3200!!! ... show more

Full disclosure, I am not a coffee purist, well versed in all things coffee, and if I'm being honest have to have milk included in the equation if I even plan to drink it. What I do know, is starbucks is overpriced, over flavored, and not that much of a time saver when you're waiting along with 15 other people for your mobile order to be ready. I bought this machine as an investment, as I was sick of paying 4-6+ dollars for a latte, but wanted to enjoy these drinks at home without having to mess with grinding beans, steaming milk etc. The set up took about 30 minutes, but the instructions were easy to understand and I wasn't confused at any point. I needed to keep the key about adjusting the intensity, amount, and foam height handy for a few weeks. I have tried all the different coffee styles, and enjoyed them all, especially the (latte, cappuccino, and cold brew). The latte go milk attachment is a game changer, so easy to fill, take on and off, and disassemble when needing to clean it. My only point of feedback is that sometimes it will pause after frothing milk and need to be refilled with water. Once you do, you simply hit the resume button and finishes; just wish it would prompt before as I'm often running around in the morning and not watching it (working mom). Overall, I love this machine and have had a great experience with it so far. I've had it about 5 months and have already made my money back on it 🤑 ... show more
