What I luv about the Philco Personal C.P. Player. As soon as installed the 2 double A batteries, I popped in my copy of Kiss Alive 2. It was a really good sounding copy of the c.d. The BBS On/Off Switch works great. You could hear c.d. clearly. Even the parts of crowd making noises didn't interfere with Paul Stanley inducing the songs. This basically the same compact disk player that had in the late 90's. The LCD display is easy to see. The control buttons are very simple to use. The ear buds are pretty decent. The only issue that I had is the eject c.d. button. The lid will not open completely. But I am able to work with that. I can still remove the disk without any problems. For what it worth. Purchase for my daughter as a Christmas present in mid December. Wasn’t used at all until Christmas Day 2025. It has been in the box for 5 weeks. Love it at first. Battery only a lasted a day and a half. On the 3rd day 12/27/2025 it stop working. It plays CD for few seconds then stops.

this cd player is okay, the headphones that they come with are kind of flimsy, but its whatever. ive had this for a couple months now and the buttons are easy to locate and understand, the sound is OK for a normal CD player, but not the best. you kind of get what you pay for though so the price is good enough. the volume is easy to locate and adjustable to my liking but i find it to not have a lot of high volume sound. the battery life is okay and will probably last you a couple hours depending on how much its charged intially. its easy to carry around and fits in my totebag so overall i have no complaints for this really, i just wish the headphones were more comfortable. ... show more
