I ordered various pillow covers (all velvet) from Amazon. These pillows were by far the best quality and they only cost one dollar more than the other velvet pillow covers I tried out. They are nice and soft. Zipper long enough that it was easy to stuff a pillow in. The color matched what my laptop screen showed, however, depending on light it has a dark teal hue to it, rather than a true dark blue. But, I like it, it ties in with the brassy gold accents in the room. Very happy with the product.

So, my cough throw pillows suffered a loss as a result of a temper tantrum by one of my cats. I ordered these in Dark Blue and in the Green. They came in, and the quality and packaging, all of it, is perfect. The fabric is head and shoulders above all the other listings on here (and I ordered a bunch because it was a BIG tantrum, he destroyed many of my pillows). On par with midrange designer stores like CB2. The Green is accurate to my screen. A grass green with a yellow undertone. And unfortunately, it just didn’t work for me. I wish they had a sage green. The Dark Blue are perfect. They match the color (a lovely marine blue) and again, lovely quality.

I read other reviews that used words like "thick" and "luxurious" and thought I received a different product. Don't get me wrong, I like my purchase, but the material isn't thick and it's 100% polyester. As I learned after Googling "velvet", velvet describes the weave, NOT the material. Velvet can be made from different materials (including polyester), so no false advertising there...I was just ignorant. Although it didn't have a luxurious feel, it did feel nice and has a good sheen. The green is a beautiful color, and the covers laundered and ironed well. Be careful, however, of the laundering instructions on the tag inside. The symbols shown don't all fully match the written text underneath the symbols. I've included a picture. First - wash in COLD water. Tub symbol shows a "30" which stands for 30 degrees Celsius (a cold wash). Written instructions read tumble dry low, but the symbol shown stands for NO dryer. Also, iron on LOW (single dot in an iron means low temp). I erred on the side of caution and turned my covers inside out, washed in cold water on a gentle cycle, hung them up to dry, and ironed them on the wrong side at a low setting. Worked perfectly. The creases came out, the color held, and they are happily residing on my sofa. A good purchase for the price.

These pillows have a lovely short velvet texture and a hidden zipper that (somehow!) perfectly matches some chairs. I wanted a solid color with texture to replace some older linen pillows and these offer a warmer, more seasonal look. I think they look great with my other printed pillows and are exactly what I was looking for! I have a feeling the company's other colors are also beautiful and the folds will fall out after a few minutes in the dryer.
