I bought a set and went to my local 9 hole course and pard the course for the first time. I own at least 5 sets of irons just trying out different types and I can honestly say I love the single length irons the most. I've only been playing for a year but I play a lot. Great value for the cost!!

Quality feel, great looking Irons. Bought these to try out single length Irons. These Irons feel great on pure shots. It's going to take some getting used to working with the single length concept. My experience so far is that the short Irons fly reeally high and land soft. The long Irons have a more penetrating flight and roll out pretty far. I'll probably switch out the 5 Iron for a fairway wood to get the ball to land a little softer. Overall I'm super pleased with the PGX single length set. ... show more

Overall I like them. I lost the 7 iron and nobody turned it in (on my home course) so that's a bummer. My usual short irons have longer shafts 7 through wedge (I was fitted with 1 and 1/2 inch longer shafts on my usual irons) so the ball flight wasn't that different but I like the consistent setup. Don't buy these (unless you are a very strong person). The swing weight on these are D-8. Also, there is no difference in loft on the 5 and 6 irons. The head came loose after four swings with the 9 iron. As I no longer have the box and put new grips (oversized Tour Velvet), I won't be able to return them. My fault for that. I just wanted to try some one length irons without spending over $400. I hope this review helps those people out there like me not waste their hard earned money. ... show more

Great starter set for trying out single length irons. I have found that single length helps me strike the ball a lot better. Grips needs some work so I replaced them but what do you expect at this price point!
