It's a beast. 500 lbs in my 12ft Jon Boat and it hulls buttkiss. Almost too much for my little Boat. Very easy to install. It's quite, not near as loud as the 55lbs thrust it's replacing. Seems heavy duty, with an extra propeller. No complaints yet.

I needed a very basic motor for my inflatable kayak and this did a great job. I created a simple mount for it and it worked great. All full speed it pushed me into the wind at 4 kts. The leads were fairly short and my battery was far away, but cutting them and soldering on an adapter for the battery wires was very quick. Price can't be beat. It was cheaper than a 100 ah battery.

I ended up getting this motor due to a shipping error. I had canceled the order and ordered a Newport with the same specs but the seller shipped the order. I did have some go arounds with the seller as they wanted to charge me for the error or make me pay to send it back, which became difficult because this is a Chinese product. Eventually the seller allowed me to keep the motor to make up for the error and difficulties. They were reasonable and helpful despite the early aggravation at the issue. Despite the shipping error, the motor was decent. I ended up running the Newport and Pexmor side by side on my boat, I just added a two battery 12 volt set up to run them off of. The Pexmor performed just as well as the Newport over a year of fishing with them both. But the Newport edges the Pexmor on quality. There is less flex in the Newport drive shaft, is has more rugged plastic on body housing, and the prop is made from a more durable and forgiving plastic. You can feel the quality is better in the Newport when working the controls as well. the Newport seems more rugged. That said, I think the Pexmor put out a tiny bit more power at full throttle, so I often used the Pexmor for quick maneuvering and the Newport for trolling. And after a year of pretty hard use the Pexmore was still in great condition. I ended giving it to a friend for their boat, and they haven't had problems with it either--definitely good value if your just looking for something to push a small boat around.

This thing works as it should, it’s very economical and an easy way to add a trolling motor to your boat or kayak, I run it with a 50AH lithium battery I also bought off of Amazon and it lasts for hours. No problem. It’s also very strong and has a very high speed setting..

For the money, this worked great to get 3 guys in a rowboat around the lake. My last name brand motor crapped out way to soon for the light use it gets, so decided to take a change on an off brand. Good power. Control is nice. Not to heavy or light. I am pleased.
