This is by far the best dog crate I have ever used, having said that I haven't used very many but this one is amazing! First off it is collapsible and easily carried. It has 2 openings, one on the wide side which is what our dog needed as she seems to be a bit claustrophobic and we have had trouble getting her into one with a narrow door at the end. This one also has the one on the end and it is even wider than most. The top has a very large opening that can be zipped open as well and the panel itself has half solid canvas and half screen so the dog doesn't feel so closed in but can see out all the way around and on the top. The material that surrounds the entire crate is a heavy duty canvas with an underside of some type of water resistant plastic or rubber. The frame is a nice painted steel tubing that keeps the crate very sturdy and there is reinforced canvas at each corner. There is a large pocket on one end of it for carrying dog supplies or whatever and it even has a nice padded mat inside for the dog to lay on and it fits perfectly and has a cover that can be taken off to wash. Our dog doesn't stay in a crate often in fact rarely but she will be much happier now when she does. I highly recommend this crate. ... show more

This may sound strange but I actually got this crate for my feral cats and not a dog. I wanted something nice with a cover that would be durable and protect them from some wind and this crate is pretty great for that. The cover is by no means weather proof but it feels very well made and does nicely cover the kennel to provide a nice private space. It has a rubber sort of material on some parts of the inside which I think is good for durability. It’s also easy to roll up and unzip the windows if that’s something that you want and they have ties to hold up the cover and Velcro to easily hold up the mesh part. It came basically put together folded up as shown in the picture and was extremely easy to unfold. You just have to push the bottoms rods down and slowly pull the top rods up while pulling the sleeve over the middle of the bars. I also had no trouble folding it back down either. This crate is also very spacious. I had what I would say is a pretty standard size small crate from the store for them before and this one feels so much bigger and nicer. And since it’s a stationary crate that is perfect for me. The Sherpa pad that’s on the bottom is just fine. It’s nothing special but it’s a bit soft and nice and structured. ... show more

I purchased the XS for my (16lb, 15" tall, 20" long...head to toe ) MinPin. He loves it...and so does my large male cat! (According to the size chart, the XS would be to small for my MinPin and I actually would go up a size if I had intended to leave him in it for any great length of time.) The quality is exceptional! It's incredibly sturdy when assembled. It's simple to collapse and store. It's well designed and includes many insightful features. Having 4 access points, also makes it's super versatile and more functional than the hard shell crates. The 3 side panels can be used in screen mode (for extra ventilation) or the screens can be covered with the flaps (to retain warmth or block the sun). And you even have the option to leave all 4 openings completely unobstructed by securing both the screens and the flaps up and out of the way. I have a very large 6.5 yr old German Shepherd who was crate trained but has been a free roamer since about 2 years old. I have a metal crate for him but due to his size he needs a crate that is minimum of 40 inches long. A metal crate of this size is way too big for me to have in a condo. I have wanted to try an alternative in case there is an emergency and I need to crate him. The metal crate is too heavy for me to carry and needs double the amount of width just to set it up and take it down. I like that this crate folds up and is light enough for me to manage moving it. It is too short in height for him to stand in, but he is not in it for long periods so it is ok. I am not loving the quality of the cover. The zippers were messed up the first time I put it together and all were jumped from their track, so be very careful with them. There were areas where they had mis-sewn and had pulled the threads out leaving pin holes all in the canvas. There is velcro that is used to hold the doors open and closed, but the velcro on the one I received was crookedly applied and does not match up well, in other words the hook side and the fuzz sides don't align to close well. I also have a hard time keeping it locked on the bottom bars, they kinda fold up a little, so I put a blanket down to try to keep them covered I was worried about him pinching his feet on them. ... show more

This kennel is lightweight, but big and strong enough to handle my malamute. No busting out and very comfortable airflow. Great for travel or for moving it up and down stairs for company or necessity. It was super easy to assemble and it even comes with a mat inside. It can also fit a full size dog bed. My dogs have made a den out of it and they go in at their own wills. It is attractive enough to be left out, more attractive than the standard steel cage, and for some reason, despite the material, my dogs have not been compelled to break free.I usually only keep mom and puppy inside, but they go in on their own as well. Even the cat tries to pop in for a visit. It seals up well with lots of airflow. Easy to clean and easy to store. ... show more

I have only used it once but it worked perfectly. The zippers seem very sturdy. The walls are flexible yet also seem quite strong. There are little velcro spots everywhere to keep the flaps in place. The multiple entrances is important for flexibility and the hoops worked great for securing it in my vehicle. It folds down semi-flat but is small enough. I would recommend it. Seems well made. Easy to assemble, no tools required. Has a nice comfy bed/mat included. Color is great! I would not recommend during initial crate training or for rambunctious pups. Lightweight and easy to carry. Cons: Wish it folded down smaller
