This kennel is well made & doesn't fold easily while my puppy is in it. Only complaint I have is that the leash strap on the inside doesn't come off. The only reason this is a problem is that if a strap is just left sitting in there for any amount of time, puppies and some dogs will try and chew it up. It's not that I wouldn't want the strap to be there to attach a leash to if I wanted to, but it not being able to detach at all is an issue for me. There is no where to tuck it in so that my puppy can't chew & possibly ingest it. So we had to cut it out. Which stinks because we might have wanted to use it in the future, but not every night while we're at home, which is when he is in the kennel. ... show more

I love this Kennel. Just got a new kitty and since I already have other animals I wanted to have a way they all can see each other , smell each other , etc. etc. until they are used to each other. This kennel is large enough for his cat box , some toys , a blanket and still room for him to play. It is very well made , sturdy and took me maybe 5 minutes to put it up. Had to hop on here and write a raving review immediately. When I first opened the package I was a bit worried I’d ordered a size too small for my 70lb pittie but it’s almost like a car that looks deceptively small from the outside but ends up being spacious lol. As you can see medium is a perfect fit for my boy (length nose to end 42 in, height head to toe 25 in. for ref.) who prefers to curl up in small spaces but still has room for the full length of his body. There isn’t a picture of him sitting or standing but he can do both comfortably. If your dog is similar size and likes a little extra space in their crate, size up. I appreciate that all 4 panels, top, sides and front, have a roll-up options as this will double as a camping crate. Two features I didn’t realize when I ordered was the rear pouch shown in the last picture, and the water bottle slot in the 4th pic. I can see this being used for a litter of pups, a rabbit, etc. So versatile. Took less than 3 minutes to assemble. Very lightweight and compactable. Great for traveling and van life. Sleek design. At this price (about $40 less than competing products at petco/pet smart) I’m thrilled with the product. ... show more

I like everything about this except for the mesh. I didn't give it five stars because the mesh, while it may keep out larger bugs like flies, the holes are too big to keep out tiny bugs. Also, if you have a rambunctious dog who jumps on the mesh, the claws of your dog may get stuck in it much more easily than in a regular screening mesh. This is big enough that I can roll up towels and put them next to the mesh, to keep my blind dog from touching the mesh and getting his claws stuck. I also would have liked the top to have a waterproof cover that when open you can still have a mesh one, like in a tent, but if you want to close it in case of rain, you could. This has half cloth, half mesh as a top. Unfortunately, in my 76 years on this earth, I have learned you can only find exactly what you want if you see the item before you buy it. Even, than, maybe no manufacturer made it as you would like it. This item was a close as possible, big enough, for both my dogs, with nice large windows for ventilation on hot days and easy to set up and take down. My dogs are a 17 lb. dachshund and a 25 pound mixed breed. They are older dogs and will not try to get out on their own. ... show more

We got this specifically for taking our cat with us on vacation. We also bought a collapsible litter box with a cover (seen in the back of the photo) to go inside. This kennel was big enough for the litter box, food and water tray and left him enough space to lay comfortably, and he's a CHONKY ass cat. I love that it has a pouch on the backside for storing stuff in. The sides, top and front of the kennel have zippers around them so it's easily accessible to the inside from whichever place you need to get to. Great value for the price. Now that we are home, we are using it for a stray kitten that showed up. She's being quarantined/introduced to the other cats and gives her a safe place to interact with them until they are comfortable with each other. I’m very happy with our portable crates. They are extremely lightweight and fold down flat for easy storage. There are flexible handles the help when carrying and secure snap closures to keep them from opening unexpectedly. I will add that these crates are HUGE! We probably should have gotten a size smaller. These crates are big enough for a Great Dane to stand up comfortably. ... show more

So a month after adopting a new cat, we moved across the country. The poor guy was just adjusting to us, and we threw him in a car for four days. This crate made ALL the difference. He had room for himself, a little bed, a travel sized cat box, and a travel water bowl. He was super content (well, as much as a cat can be) hanging out in the back of the car and chilling in his little cave. He liked that he could see out the window, but still felt secure. We liked at we could just load him on the hotel luggage dolly to move him from car to room, and that he thought the crate was his safe place, even in the hotel. My only suggestion would be that they add carrying handles to the top of the crate to make moving it (with an animal inside) easier! ... show more

This was so easy to set up and my dogs loved laying in it and even playing in it. We bought to use for camping and it was just what we needed. So much easier than taking a metal carrier but still has a sturdy frame, would highly recommend
