This rug is the softest rug ever! I haven’t tried to vacuum it yet so I can’t speak to that. However, our puppy has peed on it while potty training and it cleans up easily with no smell. It is kind of slippery but as long as it’s under a piece of furniture I feel safe that I won’t slip.

It is so soft and fluffy! It’s one of the best rugs I have ever found As far as softness and thickness. Very easy on the feet and the kids love to lay on it and watch TV or play. My dog drew on it with sidewalk chalk – orange, and it came right out with a little shout and cloth to rub it. Vacuums really easily. It slides around a little bit – quite a bit, but then it’s a great Dane doing her turbo moves so I guess that doesn’t really count. Regular walking and use it stays put. ... show more

This rug is so soft, not just with the shag but the padding is nice and thick. It helped me and MY cat make fast friends with my roommate's cats. I had wanted something that was very sensory friendly and this is great for me. All the cats love it to, they'll scrunch it up (I don't use a rug pad) and hid under it, they'll sleep on it, and its a great place for a catnip party.
