    • Great fogger and excellent customer service
I have a lot of yard and a lot of bugs. Needed something that would let me apply pesticide quickly and efficiently without wasting product. Really glad I found this fogger. The hardest part about using it for me is having to use it with a long extension cord to cover my whole yard. You have to stop once in a while to drag the cord to where it needs to be. Their customer service is excellent. Before I could use it a 2nd time, I noticed the ground prong on the plug was broken. So using it would be dangerous. I emailed them about this. Jen responded the same day and shipped out a new fogger for me. (Make sure you sign up for the 90 day warranty on their website.) While waiting for the replacement fogger, I had to use a regular sprayer for my pest control treatment. To cover my whole yard, I had to use at least twice as much pesticide, and I couldn't reach high up into the larger trees like I can with the fogger. I will definitely use only the fogger for pest control from here on out. ... show more

    • Not versatile in use & not impressed.
The media could not be loaded. I’ve used this 2x now and I’m still on the fence about it. Here’s why: 1. It’s like subjecting your plants to a category 5 hurricane. You can’t use this machine on younger plants it would blow the whole pot with the plant in it away, so it has limited use. You can NOT adjust the wind speed, it’s constant; you can only adjust the amount of solution that comes out at the single speed. 2. There are no easily visible measurement guides on the container. If you use a flashlight and hone in on your Braille skills you can faintly feel a disfigured 5 on the line where the plastic is sealed up the side. If you follow the seal, you can feel 2 more numbers. No where does it state what that 5 represents. 5 gallons? 5 liters? 5 cups? Not everyone can eyeball a weird shaped container and know. For the record it’s liters. Don’t make the mistake I did and assume it’s gallons. You’ll kick yourself for wasting expensive solution (like I did) or worse, not realize it till after the deed is done and your plants die a few days later. 3. Everyone else already mentioned how you need to turn the spray adjustment switch into the off position before hitting the power button, and hold it up above the tank so there’s no backwash. So there’s that. 4. There is no way to know how much solution is remaining or how much you’ve sprayed without fully removing the backpack when your in full blown ghostbuster mode. When you’re in a pitch black room with now slippery wet floors in head to toe PPE and there’s not much room to maneuver around your rows of precious gold, it’s not an easy task. 5. During my second session with this sprayer, a tube started to leak somewhere and down my butt and leg and into my shoes. Again, it’s near impossible to notice while it’s happening cause ghostbuster mode mentioned above. I have no clue how much precious $$$ solution I lost. If I wasn’t wearing ppe I might have grown a 3rd arm by now from exposure. After the leak, I was more concerned with showering than actually diagnosing the the location of the leak on the machine. When I turned it off the leaking stopped. That’s all I can comment on at this point about that. I will at some point have to take the time to fill it with water and test the machine under normal conditions to see what’s happening. 6. The spray tube you hold to control the spray is too SHORT. My plants are in 25 gallon containers ranging between 4-7 feet in height and to get the underside of leaves you have to basically get on your knees because just bending over and maneuvering your arm out can’t happen. If you want to spray the canopy tops, you’d have to take the heavy back pack off and stand it on your shoulder to completely reach your arm up and over, which is an athletic feat in itself considering you still have to keep an eye on the cord your dragging behind you while balancing the container & spraying, while wearing goggles and on a slippery wet floor..in the dark. This should have been #1 because it’s probably the biggest issue for me. In conclusion, this higher priced fogger is very limited in use because of the high wind single speed & extremely short wand hose. It lacks basic standard functions & quality that you’d expect at this price point. I’m not impressed. After I get around to diagnosing the leak issue I may decide to return it. I wanted an all purpose fogger to use at all life stages and this is not it. Now, because of the high wind speed, I would suggest this fogger if you have large adult plants with spider mites, but for any other basic preventative spray purposes I’d say pass on this. It would be too stressful on your plants to use on a regular basis. Even with spider mites, you’ll still need a manual pump sprayer to penetrate any visible webs that have formed on flowers. I suggest using the manual sprayer first to hit those visible spots and then use the fogger. Another tip is if you have a larger space you’re trying to cover (like I did) is to have multiple extension cords in place before you start, down each row so when you move to the next row you’re not dragging the cord behind you and knocking things down in the process. Just unplug the 1st power cord and plug in the next rows cord. I also suggest to have a plan figured out in advance on how you are going to compensate for the short wand length based on what you’re trying to spray. ... show more

    • Good produce overall ...BUT important hose not durable and wears out quickly
I like this product overall and when I've used it to control bugs in our back yard it has done a very good job and covers a lot of ground. However a serious concern is the lack of durablility of the hose on the unit. I've used it probably less than 10 times total and the hose has cracked on both ends and failed (the fog comes out of the holes). Tried duct taping it but due to the pressure the unit puts out that doesn't work for very long. I'm now looking at having to order a replacement hose ($60) or the whole thing is useless.     • This fogger/sprayer is a Beast!!!
The media could not be loaded. This backpack Sprayer/Fogger is a beast! I love it! When I initially received it, I wanted to return it because I hadn’t realized that it required a power cord and the area I am trying to treat is a great distance from a power source. Additionally the size of it was worrisome for me, because I am a Middle Aged Woman at 5’1” and weigh 105 lbs. I didn’t know if I could actually lift it once filled. So after chatting with Petra about this issue, they informed me that they don’t make a fogger on wheels or rechargeable power source. After some time I decided to fill it up and got out my longest extension cord, 100’. Let me tell you this thing is heavy, I could not lean over or the weight of it would shift and would have thrown me to the ground. I don’t know how heavy it actually is when filled, but it felt like at least 40-50 pounds. I am in pretty decent physical condition and single, so I am used to doing everything on my own, landscaping, plumbing, electrical etc. Once I was able to attach it to my back and stand up with it, I fastened the waist belt and walked slowly to get used to how the weight shifts in it. I held on the power cord so I wouldn’t accidentally walk too far away from the outlet. I did our back yard and front yard (spraying for mosquitoes) and garbage area, with still a gallon left in the tank. This unit works very well as a fogger. I love the ease of the finger tip on/off button and the shut off valve for spraying. My space is almost an acre of land and I was very generous with time spent fogging the area. My granddaughter gets bit by mosquitoes and her reaction to them is extreme and she can get very sick when bitten, always requires IV steroids, so spraying for them is a must. In the past I always hired someone to spray for them, but economics these days has me being more conscious of expenses. Any way, if your looking for a fogger, you will be pleasantly surprised at the power this unit has. It’s 5 Stars for me, if they come out with one on wheels, 4 rolling 360° I’d buy it in a second!!! ... show more
