    • For the cost of this dog house, I was a little disappointed.
One side does not latch. Roof of dog house had black smudge marks on it as if it had been rubbed up against something. Inside the bottom part of dog house had run stains as if something had been spilled. Purchased for my outdoor cats . Fortunately the dog house is on a covered patio out of the winter elements.     • Well Built, But Doesn't Fit Together
The house is very well built and seems well designed. However, when attempting to attach the top to the bottom, I noticed that only one side clipped together. When one side was clipped, the other overhung too much to clip (the top was too big for the bottom). Instead of spending far more to buy another house, I used zip ties and a drill to hold the two parts together instead of the clips. I don't feel like for this price point I should have to fix it, but besides that I am pleased with the purchase. ... show more

    • Nice but very hot!
I had to drill holes all around to try to let more air blow through… my dog loves it but I see him pant in it and eventually will get out and rest elsewhere….so I’d say, have a second option so they can escape the heat.. even though I drilled the holes all around, it’s still hot for my little guy.

    • Well made but lid doesn't stay on - just use zip ties
It is waterproof. Won't be leaving it out in the winter but it's been through a lot of rain & it doesn't leak. Others suggested using zip ties. Just drill/poke a small hole in the lower part of the doghouse and loop tie through it & pre-made hole in corners of roof. Easy peasy.

I got this doghouse for my outdoor cats. (The small one was bought from tractor supply). I bought dog beds to put inside so they have a comfy warm spot to lay to sleep out of the weather. Plastic & comes in 2 pieces, top & bottom. They snap together so no effort to assemble. They are small vents on te back to let fresh air in, but it doesn't rain in. ... show more

These are a very sturdy shelter for warm climates. They are not good for cold winters. Wish they made an insulated version.
