I don't know what it is about this toy but both of my cats are obsessed. They have a toy box that I dump all their toys in and no matter what, the first and often only toy(s) they pull out is/are this little lion. They are very good at murdering it. I definitely bought this thinking it was going to be 4 inches longer than it is, and was a bit disappointed. I wanted something my cat could really hold lengthwise and kick at. It seems to be made well, but he hasn't shown much interest beyond sometimes batting it around a bit or dragging it by the string.
