Description

Bring the authentic look of seasoned Live Oak to your hearth with this Real Fyre 24-inch vented gas log kit. The hand‑painted refractory ceramic logs are internally reinforced with steel rods to resist warping and deliver lasting strength and radiant heat. This natural gas, match‑lit set includes the vented burner, grate, silica sand, glowing embers, damper clamp, and a gas line connection kit—everything you need to complete a standard vented installation in a wood‑burning fireplace. Engineered for robust performance, the 24-inch Real Fyre vented set delivers up to 90,000 BTU for tall, lively flames and room‑warming comfort. Actual results depend on fireplace size, venting, and home conditions. Before ordering, confirm your fireplace can accommodate a 24-inch vented set. Typical minimum opening for match‑lit 24-inch systems using a Real Fyre G45 burner is about 28 inches wide (front) x 23 inches wide (rear) x 13 inches deep x 17 inches high. If you add a safety pilot, plan for additional width. This kit is designed for indoor, fully vented, wood‑burning fireplaces and operates on natural gas only. Keep the chimney flue open during use and follow local codes and the fireplace manufacturer’s guidelines. Prefer push‑button lighting or remote control? You can upgrade later: add the Real Fyre SPK‑26 manual safety pilot for easier lighting, or the APK‑17 low‑profile variable‑flame remote system for on/off and flame‑height control (both sold separately). Adding a valve may require a wider opening to center the set. What’s in the box: six Live Oak ceramic logs, vented burner and grate, silica sand, glowing embers, damper clamp, and a gas line connection kit. For best results, have a qualified gas professional install and test the system.

This is a basic set of logs. Good, heavy, quality. But you do need aggregate for the floor around burner, extra. It is match lit as described so make sure you don’t want a pilot kit. All in all it is exactly as described but you might want next step up.

Seriously. I researched for a few months looking for the best burner and log set. We have two fireplaces and when we purchased our home two years ago, the existing burner and log sets were crappy. The burners were old and barely off flames and the logs were very light like Styrofoam. After reading reviews and looking at pics I decided to move forward and purchase two of these sets. I couldn't be more pleased. When I went to grab the boxes off of my front porch I almost pulled my back out. This set is well made and the logs are HEAVY. They're like rocks and continue to put off heat long after you cut the burner off, which is exactly what I've been looking for. The set includes more than enough sand and embers. I only had to open one bag of each and that got me through installed both sets. So I still have a full bag of sand and embers to use in the future. My only suggestion is don't purchase the connector set and pick up the pieces from home depot yourself. I purchased the connector from this seller but my gas line is on the left side of my fireplace and the connector line wasn't long enough to run it around the back of the logs and connect. Home depot had exactly what I needed to get the job done. Other than that, installation was easy. The most difficult part for me was setting the logs up to look nice but my wife took care of that quickly. The logs look great and the sand/embers make this amazing. I can't walk by the fireplace without remarking about how happy I am with the purchase. We are now ready to host Christmas lol ... show more

Size: 18-Inch Color: Live Oak [Ng] [Includes Gas Connection-kit]
Moved into our first home and previous owners used duraflame logs despite NG connection. so with some love and care we polished and cleaned up the fireplace. We have been waiting for the right time and setup to buy an NG connection. Our chimney cleaner scared me that it was going to be several hundred dollars for a whole NG setup. However, I couldn't believe my luck to find this setup and company on Amazon with great reviews. Delivery was literally spot on and setup was so friggen easy it took less than 1 hr!!! NG connections were a breeze, regulator is perfect, and instructions were NOT complicated!!! The package didn't really say it came with glowing embers or perhaps I overlooked that, so I had some on the side, and was so pleasantly surprised to find they came INCLUDED!! however, you will need to have rocks since that is NOT included. Our fireplace has now been running all day and we are just the happiest peaches in cream during this rainy weather! cannot recommend this enough!!!!!!!! thank you FyreLogs!!! ... show more

    • Beautiful Log Kit!
Size: 18-Inch Color: Live Oak [Ng] [Includes Gas Connection-kit]
Review Image by lakecityboy
I bought this log kit in October of 2020. Installed it myself--very easy, took about an hour tops. Very pleased with the kit...looks beautiful, and so far has required zero maintenance. The logs are very heavy ceramic...this is not some flimsy kit. We have used it almost every evening during the cooler months. So nice not to have to drag firewood in from outside, wait for the fire to go out so you can retire for the night, and best of all, the house doesn't smell like smoke. Doesn't put out a huge amount of heat...if you stand in front of it you can feel it, but don't count on it to warm your house. Overall, we are very pleased with our purchase, and highly recommend this kit! ... show more

    • Easy Installation and Looks Nice

I received this Log Set with Burner and Gas Connection Kit a couple of months ago, but just installed it recently. I am very glad that there were no issues. The only thing that was not included was some yellow gas rated tape for the pipe threads. Other than a quick trip to Lowes, it went fairly smooth. The instructions were not really specific, but good enough to help figure out how to complete the installation. The gas connector was perfect, as was the burner. I had used some heat rated black spray paint for the two sides and back wall of my fireplace (don't spray the floor), and man what a nice contrast that allows the fire to stand out. For the price, this is a great deal. Note: The Fireplace Screen depicted in the photos is also an item sold on Amazon (Small Crest Fireplace Screen with Doors, Solid Wrought Iron Frame with Metal Mesh, Decorative Scroll Design, Free Standing Spark Guard 38 W x 31 H x 13 D, Black Finish). It was also easily assembled. I recommend it as well. ... show more

    • Nice stuff, pilot switch a pain
Size: 18-Inch Color: Live Oak (LP) (includes gas connection kit)
The flexible hose is not very flexible. I really had to tinker with it to get it to fit and it ended up leaking after being bent and twisted so much. My fireplace’s propane line comes in from the left and the unit ships with right orientation, meaning I had some work to do in order to switch it around. This was nowhere in the instructions, by the way. I tried to install the pilot switch but because of the left orientation it just wouldn’t work. I wasted a little money on that upgrade as the switch is just useless spare parts now. Overall, the fire looks good. ... show more

    • Great product and Customer service
This is a great product for the price. Love the look of the logs. The only down fall is two of the logs came cracked but seller is going to replace both. Super happy with over all look and warmth it provides.
