  • Treated my cystic acne before it got to the surface!
Love these! I am actually very impressed. While these don't pull the gunk out, they heal the acne. I've used this a few different spots and it's worked every time. Most recently I used on a cystic pimple I could feel coming. It was still under the skin but sensitive and I could feel it. I put one of these guys on overnight and by morning the sensitivity was decreased. I repeated two more nights and now I can barely even feel it under the skin! All sensitivity is gone and it never even came to the surface. I found these stuck really well to my face overnight; I'm a chronic sleep flopper. I've used the cosrx patches and those would frequently fall off my face at night but these do not! Since they are clear I feel they are pretty unnoticeable, though I did only wear them at home. I also didn't feel them on my face which is a problem I've had with others. Between the actual dot and the lack of feeling the reaction of the ingredients I forgot I even had put them on. I'm incredibly pleased with these and plan on using them for a long time! ... show more

  • Worked on my adult acne
I’m 49 and still suffer from adult acne. These really work. I’ve tried other patches and these are best I’ve tried. I’ve worn them at night and during the day. I’m dark brown black woman and you have to look really hard to see them during the day. They stay on at night without any trouble. The swelling from the acne is gone after using as directed, thereby avoiding the hyperpigmentation that follows. Definitely will purchase again. ... show more

  • Works for Me and They're Invisible!
I wasn't expecting much however I can report that this product really does work for me. I rarely get pimples but when I do, they're the noticeable kind that resemble mosquito bites. I can apply one of the dots, wear it for 8 hours and the thing is gone! What I really like about this (besides the fact that it really works) is that the dots are clear. When I have one on my face I can't see it. I'm brown-skinned so this is a game-changer from the white or "flesh-toned" creams and bandages. I can't even feel it unless I pick around the edges with my fingernails. I always think it must've fallen off but it's just that thin and invisible. I have one bump that will not go away although it gets a little smaller. I think it's an ingrown hair. I wouldn't expect it can help with that one. I love these dots. There are 72 in the box (small and medium sizes). I think it'll be a couple of months before I need a refill and then I will definitely stock up again. ... show more

  • Decent replacement for a discontinued staple
This seems to do the job as far as blemish dots go for those that use it in my household. As with most things results do vary from person to person. However, the belief being the salicylic acid treatment in these dots help reduce blemishes a little bit faster and effectively than other dots, Still feel that Skyn Iceland's discontinued dots were the best but this does come close, ... show more

  • probably used them wrong but they're just OK
at first I thought these seemed great being discrete and used in public. personally I never used them in public, but I did notice someone wearing them while eating lunch with friends. So they are not as discrete as I expected. Anyways I used these on about 5 pimples of different types (cystic small/big, no head, head, inflamed). . It is a small test sample size so results are skewed. These did not really help much for any of the uses. Possibly softened the pimple with a head so it would melt open versus popping it. In any case, these patches are not the way to eliminate acne. look into blue light mask therapy for long lasting results. Coupled with a daily face wash routine. ... show more

  • Better on shallow & medium than deep ones, but works overall
I get pretty deep acne, and I was pretty skeptical about whether this would work, but overall they've been good. On some recent spots, I put these on for two nights and one day (switching them out of course), and the spots were much less painful after ~24 hrs and almost completely healed by 36. One deeper spot seemed to heal up but with a hard bit of scar or something underneath while another spot came to a head and was fine. I *think* it's relative to how deep they really are: a little bit deep and it's great, but too deep and it might just need professional help. ... show more

  • The BEST for deep, painful monster zit attacks
These are amazing for those deep down painful zits, both before and after popping. :/ Really helps to reduce inflammation, keeps it clean, brings it to a head, and keeps my hands off the spot. More importantly, in contrast to those colloid bandages that are similar, these WON'T rip an entire layer of skin off when you remove them. But I've never had an issue with them falling off. These suckers are worth every damn penny and saved me from a monster mega zit that was brewing when I was standing up in a friend's wedding the next day. ... show more

  • Surprised that PTR stands by this product. Substandard.
Definitely disappointed with these. I was expecting higher quality from the PTR brand since I love many of their products. But compared to other spot patches out there, this one is by far inferior. The removal from the plastic film is not user friendly, often scrunching when you are picking at the patch to use it. The other thing is that these don’t adhere to the skins surface as well as I’d have liked. And even if you get lucky and it adheres, I have been disappointed with how useless and ineffective they’ve been. I’ve used three or four other brands that sell a similar product—and I would choose any of them over this one. ... show more
