The PETEPELA 44.5" Cat Tree for Indoor Cats, 5-Level Cat Tower for Large Cats was very easy to assemble. No tools are needed aside from the included Allen wrench. Pictorial instructions are included and are easy to read and follow. I had it assembled in about ten minutes. My cats, however, did not wait ten minutes to become interested in it! They immediately tried out the cat hammock! This cat tree is a soft carpet fabric with sisal wrapped posts for scratching. It is softer than usual carpet you’d find in a house. I chose the light gray color and it is true to what is shown online. My cats especially love the dangling ball toy and the bed on top. The top level has a bed that slips onto the base to give the cats some sidewalls to lean against. I was worried that my chunky felines would be too large for the medium sized tree, but even the largest cat at 18 lbs has found ways to enjoy it. They are all able to fit in the cat house portion, which surprised me! My cats have played on or slept on this tree constantly since I put it together. I’d say it’s a hit with them. As far as being sturdy, it will tip and rock some and would benefit from having the included secure strap attached to the wall. It might not be an issue if you have kittens, but my larger cats can make it wobble some. ... show more
