We inherited 2 cats this past year. They showed up wanting to eat. We not only fed them, we gave them a place to live. One is a small female that has been sleeping in our garage. She immediately made a nest and you almost have to pry her off. The other a year old male Coon that weighs about 14 lbs. He is an indoor/outdoor cat who always sleeps in the house. It took him a few days to “ warm up” to this mat. He will lie there for an hour or so and then get up and lay spread eagle on the tile floor. We can only assume he gets too hot. ( He has never admitted this though.😋) So if you have small animals this mat is what you need. Also, washes well on cold !!

So excited to get this self warming pad for my elderly cat. But it doesn't fuff up, and it's less than an inch thick. Zero padding! Not at all like the pictures! I will keep it and find some foam to insert, making it thicker and more comfortable. Nice pad if looking for something to place on the sofa or your bed for the cat.
