I have purchased this style of pet bed/cave several times in the past from different sellers. My cats have used and enjoyed all of them. BUT I have to say this particular pet bed is the BEST I have ever purchased. I got the 19x19x19 size since it and the 16" were the same price. It popped open and held its shape without any effort, the fabric is very sturdy, soft corduroy. The pillow inside isn't flat like all the others I've had. It's thick and fluffy. Even though I was aware of the dimensions, this is still much bigger than I anticipated with plenty of room. My cat is a stocky tabby who weighs 12 pounds and there is enough room for one more cat his size without being crowded at all. My cat, Charlie went right inside as soon as I set it up and he hasn't come out yet! Over all, I am very impressed with the size, shape, appearance, quality. This little tent is well made and very soft and comfortable for the pet. The bottom pillow comes out for cleaning and very attractive for pet to snuggle in. The opening is large enough for animal to get all the way in, but still can have head or shoulders out for looking around.

It's soft, appears easy to clean, has a nice, soft, removable cushion & no assembly required -simply open the box it's shipped in, pull it out & fluff it up. As far as size, we purchased the 16" x 16" according to reviews for adult cat's size. However, it was too small. It was right at Christmas time & we ran out of money [the grandchildren have to come first] to buy a larger one but will buy if prices don't escilate by the beginning of next month. Took a little bit before went in but now she's in there all the time. My cat weights 12lbs. and she fits nicely. The bed is a good purchase. Light weight, comes with a soft pillow flooring. I would buy this again.l

This is our second “mutt hut”, and our second Boston loves it just like the first one did. They like a safe, comfy, warm place to be, and this well made bed does the trick. So much nicer than a hard, cold crate.

I wasn’t overly impressed with this item. My dog Is 7 lbs and every time he would go inside it would start to collapse. I would have to kind of press down on the top in order for it to stay open. My dog eventually was over it and would pull out the cushion and just lay on it. Now he uses the whole tent as a “cushion” because when it collapsed he just ended up laying on top of the whole thing so it’s entirely flat on the ground. I gave this five stars because it the brown tweed color was very attractive and did not stand out against my other furnishings. Also, inside very roomy and soft. This size could fit two cats. Unfortunately my cat was not interested in it and gave it to my neighbor's cat and she loves it. If your cat likes to get inside of covers, etc., this may be the one for your cat.
