I do like this crate. I like the plastic with the metal combination. I purchased it for the back seat in the car as a travel crate. I soon found out that it is not suitable for regular use in a car. It is extremely noisy with all the rattling as the car is in motion(much more thsn your average metal crate).It is frustrating to the dog,who has to listen to it the whole time, and super irritating for the other passengers in the car and the driver. So I moved it into the house and she uses it as her nighttime sleeping crate. But I wouldnt leave a dog unattended in it. And I would not recommend this to the owner of a dog known for being chewy. There are plastic clasps ,that hook the metal into its upright position, that is accessible to a chewing dog. And if the dog chews the plastic off, the crate will collapse into itself & onto the dog.     • (Kinda) Lightweight and Portable!
Our groodle is about 80 pounds, so she needed the 42" crate. She comes with us everywhere, so taking down her wire crate frequently was very inconvenient. It bent easily and was difficult to carry to and from. This collpasible crate is the ticket. The carrying bag is so convenient and the wheels are a lifesaver. It takes some practice, but you can absolutely put up/take down this crate by yourself.     • Hard to open doors. But looks nice and does the job.
Clips on doors are very difficult to open. Takes two hands for each and multiple attempts even after having it for several weeks. Comfortable for the dog, but sometime have accidents in the crate because it takes too long to get the door open. Other than that, satisfied.

I bought this for traveling with my Standard Poodle. It is almost too short for him. I would recommend wheels on the bag or something because hauling this puppy from the Long Term parking lot to the terminal is a pain in the arse when you have to walk carrying it, towing a suitcase or two and a dog.

    • Can’t fit through a standard sized door without being disassembled
Too wide to fit through a standard door, even turning it on its side it cannot fit with the handle. Must shorter height wise than what would be expected of a 42” kennel. Very flimsy, rattles like crazy in the car more than one than is collapsible from like MidWest Kennels that are metal. Wheels are cool but basically useless how they were implemented on the larger kennel. Latches while good can vibe very frustrating to push as they are extremely stiff so pushing the button while trying to hold the crate and pull the latch open just seems like a nuisance but that may be amplified by my overall frustration from the kennel as a whole and the inability to be able to move it room to room around the house as needed. ... show more

    • It’s not cheap but worth it!
Easy to clean since it has four doors! Especially side sliding door is great for cleaning and great for easy access. Very sturdy, easy to clean inside, easy to move because it has handle and rollers. There are so many cheaper cages, but this cage is worth for this price!

Love the way this crate looks, very pretty. However the latches do not hold the doors shut very well. Our lab had issue escaping multiple times. The garage style door doesn't stay super secure. We tried putting that side against the wall and he still figured it out.

The plastic is NOT sturdy enough, my dog easily chewed through two seemingly pointless plastic bumps that are on the inside of the crate and seem to have no purpose in the overall design. Contacted company about this and they didn't seem to care or make any means to rectify the situation. It's extremely dangerous to have a plastic crate made for dogs that they can easily chew through. ... show more
