As the product says, this is not meant for chewers. My fur babe isn't a chewer of things at all, but he does like to tear things down if he's bored, and he does just that with this bumper. I love the look of it and it is nice quality. I think I'll remove it until he's a little older (and hopefully stops that behavior). He does just fine with the crate pad that comes with the set. He's jostled it around a bit at times, but mostly leaves it be. And because of it's somewhat firm design, it stay in place nicely. I love this stuff, just be aware a curious puppy may do some damage. Paxton pulled one of the velcro pieces off. Luckily I got it from him, but that one doesn't work now.

I have purchased 5 of these bumpers and I don’t regret it at all. The way they attach to the crate is easy but sturdy and my dogs can’t work them off. They haven’t seemed interested in chewing them either. They are easy to clean, once a week I wash them and hang dry them. Putting the bumpers on has been a huge benefit in a lot of ways but one of the best is it helped quiet my dogs down when crated. They used to bark at every shadow, and the cats, and anything else but out of sight out of mind apparently. I highly recommend these if you’re looking for soft, quality crate bumpers. They are good value for the cost.

love the look and the makeshift of it. the quality of the fabric is amazing. I cannot give it more than 3 stars is because it lacks enough velcro fasteners and it does not stay in place. if i had a small dog it might work better but with a medium sized dog... it is not enough. for the resale value, i has expecting more sturdiness which is not there, maybe because the velcro strips don't hold it in place or because it feels like something I can personally use. It feels like a crib bumper and that is not what i was expecting (again if you have a lap or small dog, or even a less active/young furry kid, it might work).. really wanted to love it but am disappointed. i wish i could return it

I love this but it needs a few more elastic strips on the side to keep it secure. I'll probably order some strips from here and put them on using a hot glue gun. This is the only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars.

Overall this is a nice quality item. It does the job well, I do wish the velcro tabs were a bit larger and a bit longer for the corners that sit against the back of the cage especially. Does what it is supposed to, provides a nice barrier between the wire crate and your loved one and I love the softness of it. Tried it through the washer and dryer and had no issues, held up beautifully. However, while this is a good quality product, there are a few tweaks that can be made to improve it as previously mentioned and it is definetly on the higher end price wise. In the future I would love to see the company compromise a little with the cost and offer this as a combo pack so you can get the bumpers and the matching crate mat together rather than having to order separately. Makes it a bit of a Hassel.

This is my first Amazon review but if you get this product for the reason we did, you’ll want to know. We got this because our Great Danes have had happy tail so the height within the crate is important. Even though the XXL shows it’s 48” around and either 30 or 33 inch height (little confusing on the chart?!?) it is merely 14” high. Yes, the fabric is fine and the height will at the very least let them lay more comfortably against the base of the crate (hence a generous 2 stars), but the measurements are completely wrong for what actually arrives. Will be returning or asking the second half of what actually arrived.
