There are more bolts to hold the shells together, and the rack under the provided piece of fluffy carpet is very strong. I bought a second crate so that each of my dogs has its own. While this crate is a bit bulky to transport and quite expensive, it met the IATA requirements to fly our dog in comfort and safety, which is why we purchased it. Down side: the handle comes off easily and is really insufficient to carry it. Upside: everything else is great. It’s easy to put together, meets the requirements to travel, and is comfortable for the dog (as much as flying can be). She likes using it in our house as her “den,” which is an added bonus. While I wish it came in another color, it was easy to spot from afar when we were looking for our dog in cargo. The item is poorly made and not very sturdy. I ended up having to purchase another one that was better quality and more sturdy. Plus, don’t try and return it. No chance they are not helpful at all.

Love the size and I’m sure it’s going to be great for flying. Harder than it should have been to put together though. Had to fight some of the bolts to go in. Comes with no instructions as well. Definitely feel like it could have been better made for being almost $1k.

Easy to put together. Durable and not super heavy when there is not an animal inside. We needed these crates for a flight from the US to the UK. Airline and UK regulations have changed and we had to buy 3 crates all together for our pets to fly in cargo, 2 BB45s and 1 PP100. I do wish they were a somewhat cheaper as this is one of the only companies that sells the PP90/PP100 and they use that to their advantage. I understand that a company has to make a profit but $1015 for a crate is crazy work. Especially when the only difference between a PP90 and a PP100 is a five inch insert to make it taller. They charge an extra $200+ for that insert (although $795 isn't cheap either). However, all our animals arrived safely as the crates did what they are intended to do. NOTE: I hated putting my babies in cargo but this was my only option if they were to come with us on our move and I refused to leave them behind. ... show more

Perfect for traveling Internationally. Meets all the Airline requirements. Some think the crate is expensive, but it's worth every penny. It's durable, safe and functional. The company is very professional and easy to work with. Comes in different sizes, it's very easy to assemble.

So this is brand that is recommended by pet shippers, the price is high for cheap quality. But I guess its the brand name that helps at airports. Honestly my pet will be shipped in it and I hope it makes it through the journey with this poor quality product. If not traveling by shipping I would never recommend this one, to expensive for cheap quality ... show more
