My cat enjoys this but unfortunately so does the puppy so it has had to go away for awhile. My cat would seek out to play with, not even letting it fully charge. Not her favorite toy, but it is up there.

When the toy first arrived I realized the pickle was pretty large and at first turning it on scared my cat. I wasn’t sure if she was going to end up liking the toy, but she took to it pretty quick. She now loves the pickle and even takes it under the bed with her when she is scared. I still don’t turn the toy on because she prefers playing with it like a stuffed animal, but overall great toy. This is based on the shark version, I didn't buy Mr. Pickle but I am sure they use the same motor on the inside. Pros: My cat loved it, especially when I first took it out. It also doesn't require batteries so being able to charge it is really nice. Big and soft enough that they can sort of hug it and bite on it comfortably. Cons: There is a weird smell that it started to give out on the third time I took it out, like burnt plastic, when it would be on for more than 3-4 mins of play time. Eventually, even after charging it the motor must have gotten weaker, it makes noise but it is no longer "strong enough" to move the tail. I must have took out the toy no more than 10 times in total. She can no longer play with it and it's past the 30 day mark so I cannot return it. All in all it would be a great toy to keep around if it didn't break so easily. I bought it based on the positive reviews so it might be a hit or miss with this toy. ... show more

My cats were trying to get to this before it was charged! As soon as it was ready, I put it on the floor and my male played with it for 15 minutes, as soon as he left it,my female ran to it. They've been fighting over it since,so I ordered another one. Usually they're more interested in the box.

My 6 year old fixed female cat loves it, and she doesn't like many toys. She acted like a kitten again. My 3 month old kitten didn't pay much attention to it. I wish the battery and cords were removable, they are very large and clunky. Cats don't like it at all when it's turned on, very loud motor. Wish we could remove it so it was a soft and flimsy toy, instead of being heavy and hard to slide around on the floor. ... show more
