Absolutely adorable and keeps my cats entertained for ages!
This toy is so incredibly cute! I originally bought it for my girl cat because she is super stealthy and reminds me of a little shark (plus, she strangely loves watching actual shark documentaries on TV). I wanted to give her something fun and engaging to lift her spirits after she had surgery, and this was the perfect choice. Both she and her brother absolutely love playing with it. The realistic flopping movement is excellent, it immediately catches their attention and keeps them engaged and active for quite a long time compared to other toys. It's durable, entertaining, and a massive hit in our household. If you are looking for a fun interactive toy to keep your indoor cats stimulated, this one is definitely worth it!

Great for "psycho kitties"
Have a cat I rescued off the street when she was a wee lil kitten. Never got the appropriate mother and littermate experiences so she plays waaaay too rough. Add an extremely overactive predator instinct and she is pretty hard to handle sometimes. None of the other toys I've tried really kept her interest. Like the fishing pole toys... she was always more interested in attacking what was waving the thing around. Gotten quite a lot of scratch and bite marks these past 6 months. Shredded up my hands and arms so much a lot of people have commented on it when they see it. No, I'm not an emo, just have a crazy kitty. This is the one type of toy I've found she actually likes. She'll go to town on it, especially when she has the "zoomies." She's been able to get a lot of that stuff out of her system with this thing, and the past few days have been a nice break for me. Not sure how long they last, but hoping at least a month with her. They're cheap enough to buy one every month, and more than worth it considering I'm also getting a lot of peace of mind and body and she really enjoys it.

Kitten’s favorite toy
My kitten loves the flopping shark. Unfortunately it doesn’t hold a charge. The kitten gets 2 maybe 3 fights with the shark and it needs to be charged. We charge it multiple times during the day.

Great flsh flapping cat toy.
Love this toy! There are three different rhythms to the tail flapping, all done one after the other, when it's been handled. My cats love it. They sit on it in an attempt to subdue its prey. The fabric is soft like felt but doesn't pick up much hair. My cats play with this much more than the more realistic looking fabric fish.

Sucks.
the flopping mechanism does not work. i charged it and tried flipping the switch because my cat loves his old one from a different place that doesn’t sell them anymore. it did not work and i even tried hitting it because it says cats only need to touch it for it to move but that also didn’t work. waste of money.

Had a black stain on the fabric inside the package, that I could only partially remove. I bought it as much for myself as the pups. It's cute, and does flop well, but dogs are not especially fond of it. They'll just play with it for a minute and then they're done. I doubt that it would stand up to heavy chewers.

Older Cat Loves It
We bought this for our 11-year-old, sedate Ragdoll cat. She is not much excited by regular catnip, but she immediately liked this item. But she's a rather quiet girl and honestly seemed a bit put off by the flipping and flopping it does when triggered by being touched. I took a chance and pulled out the box that contains the motor and batteries and gave it back to her. Now, she doesn't just like it -- she just plain LOVES it. Some days, she uses it for a pillow and falls asleep with her head resting on it. Other times, she lies completely on top of it and snuggles in for a rest (This is MINE!). Recommended.
