Large and sturdy, appreciate the multiple ways to open and that it folds down for easy storage. My cat is about 10 Ibs and fits comfortably within this carrier.

I’m moving soon so I needed something to make traveling with my cat easier. I was not expecting the floor piece to be so soft & nice!! Amazing quality & my mom’s cat (pictured) likes it more than my cat does haha!

So it's a bit hard to write a review for this carrier. The product page says it's good for 20 pound cats, that it's a 'large' carrier. It is NOT a large carrier. My 15 pound cat is nose and tail scrunched into the carrier when standing -- I would hate to try to contort a larger cat into it. (I don't know about dogs and their needs -- this review pertains to cats.) That all said... My cat grew sick and lost some weight and I was hauling her to the very in a huge old cat carrier. She fit, and she had room to turn around, but the carrier barely fit in the car and walking was a challenge as she could move back and forth in the carrier and send me off balance with ease. I decided to give this carrier a try. Lo and behold, she's still nose to tail, but she can curl up in the carrier and it's SO much easier to carry! Because her weight is concentrated and she can't move around so much, it feels so much steadier and stable when I'm carrying her around. The base has a removable (cleanable!) floor mat that has a soft covering to is, so I don't feel I have to stick an old towel in so she isn't sitting on bare plastic. There are a lot of mesh windows and there's still a top opening, which is the opening that I consider most important when you have vet visits. The carrier is smaller than my old plastic one and fits a lot more easily in my car, and carry handles are really nice to carry compared to the plastic grip of my old carrier. It might not be as easy to clean as that old carrier should we have a terrible experience that involves way too many bodily fluids, but the overall benefits definitely outweigh that loss. I'd easily give this carrier five stars, but I still have that niggling feeling that it just shouldn't be considered a LARGE cat (or dog!) carrier. Please check the measurements very carefully before purchasing. It's a great carrier, but the labeling is a bit deceptive in my mind. If your animal fits, I'd wholeheartedly recommend it!

My cats actually like this carrier. They will sit in it even when we aren’t going anywhere. Which makes taking them somewhere that much easier. Great quality. I feel like this was an absolute bargain for the price.

My older cat carrier just wasn't big enough for my 15 pound boy so looked and looked and finally found one right here!! This carrier is for cats up to 20 pounds and my cat can actually turn around and stand up. I love this. No more scrunching for my cat. Highly recommend.
