I was looking for doggy stairs for our older rat terrier and new doxie puppy. The stairs arrived and the gray color was perfect. It was easy to assemble and was very sturdy. My 8 yo son walked up them and they held up nicely as he is 75 pounds and both dogs are 10 pounds each. They are the perfect height for our couch and ottoman. Shockingly there is a lot of storage in each of the steps. The stairs wear less expensive than many of the other stairs on line but it turned out to be a win-win. Great price, sturdy, great neutral color and the perfect size. Very happy with purchase and both dogs give it two paws up.

I read the reviews and debated but finally decided to take a chance. I'm glad I did. We have two chihuahuas, around 9 lbs. maximum weight each. I worked from home in another city for two months this year and needed a way for my pups to get on and off the couch or chair without jumping. It needed to be portable enough to transport in a car. While the folded-up size is a little bigger than I had hoped, I think it needs to be to provide the structural stability to hold up as stairs. When I had secured the lid correctly (important - you might wiggle it to double-check), it was very secure. The stairs never caved in and they were heavy enough to not move when used on a wood floor. They look and feel nice, too. One of our dogs decided to sometimes sleep on one of the steps. When we got home from the trip I decided to swap out the expensive ramp we had purchased. I think the dogs like the steps better and they take up less room. This was a great purchase!

It works well. Once my small dog got used to it, she loved it. She uses it to get in my chair for cuddles all the time. She has a little arthritis in her hind quarters so it is much more comfortable for her than trying to jump up or for me to lift her. The only reason I gave it a four star is because it is a little flimsy. Basically, it is three boxes covered in material and connected with velcro. the velcro works fine until you have to move it, then the pieces come apart. Am concerned how long it will last since she uses it so much. Only time will tell and I've only had it for about a month.

The stairs arrived and I could put them together in about 20 seconds. No reading required. There is plenty of storage inside. And I tried walking on them myself as someone did in the video I watched and was surprised that they felt totally solid. I am about 125 lbs. It took a little practice to get my dog to use them but with treats it was very doable in about two sessions. She doesn't love them, but she uses them just fine and I don't have to worry about her as she gets older hurting herself and not being trainable because of her age. She is 5 years old now.

I bought this for my 11 lb mini dachshund to use to get on the furniture; however, my elderly pit bull uses the bottom stair as well to get up on the furniture. It is well made, has storage, and looks high end. I like that it’s compact and folds when needed to store away. I would definitely recommend to others with small dogs or senior dogs who need a bit of assistance.

The lids of the stairs detach, so when you get them just wedge something in between to pry the two pieces apart and add super glue before hammering them back together. Otherwise, they’re very sturdy and I didn’t worry about my 30lb dog using them. Cleaning isn’t the easiest, but it’s pretty good for fabric. My dog loved these (she sadly passed), and the storage was really helpful. It holds an 8qt rectangular dog food dispenser with some room around it in the tallest step, and has more storage for toys/wet food/medicine etc. in the other two steps. My dog didn’t mess with trying to get into them, but she absolutely could if she wanted to so just keep that in mind.

This is great for my terrier-gremlin mix & chug mix dogs that shouldn't be jumping on & off the bed! The best part is that the steps are also storage containers for toys, blankets, etc. This took very little time for my elderly dog to figure out how to use rather than break a hip.

I got this for my 17 year old Chihuahua mix. He's always been an electric little monster with no off switch, but old age is finally slowing him down. I needed foldable steps because of the size of my living room and furniture. They're steady too, as I also have two 60+ pounds of pound rescues that believe these were really meant for them. They ALL use them daily, and I have stepped on the bottom step briefly to prove to the little monster that they are safe. I am 170 pounds, so I'm pretty pleased. I read the pros and cons, and IF the tops on these break, I'm confident I can fix them. I'll use them until they're trashed or if the monster finally kicks the bucket. However, his inherent Napoleon complex and seer rage at the world will probably keep him alive forever. I recommend these stairs, so if you need them, try them.
