I bought these peppermint pest control pouches after spotting mice in my camper and some pantry pests around the garage. I wanted something low maintenance that wouldn’t require sprays or traps. The idea of using natural essential oils and a simple pouch sounded like a sensible, safe option for indoors and the camper where I spend a lot of time. In daily use I placed one pouch in each enclosed area: the closet, under the sink, and in a storage compartment in the camper. The pouch is discreet and easy to tuck away. One pouch is said to cover up to 120 square feet, and so far that has worked well for smaller rooms and the inside of the camper. The peppermint scent is noticeable but not overpowering, and there is no messy residue to clean up. What stood out most was how little I needed to think about it. I did not see pests gnawing on wires or obvious activity after a few weeks, and the scent lingered for a while before needing replacement. It feels like the blend of natural oils is doing the work without creating a strong odor, which is nicer than heavy chemical repellents. It is also reassuring that the product is described as safe for people and pets when used as directed. One small caveat is the duration and coverage. The 60 to 90 day window means replacing bags periodically, and in larger spaces you may want more than one pouch. Still, for quiet, low effort pest deterrence in tight spots around my home and camper, this holds up well and I would rate it five stars.     • Best natural roach repellent i’ve tried
I hate roaches and was getting really frustrated with the ones sneaking into my pantry and laundry area. I didn’t want to use spray or sticky traps because of my toddler. I tried these roach repellent pouches and honestly wasn’t expecting much, but wow—they worked fast. I placed them in cabinets, near the washer, and even under the stove. Within a couple of days, the musty roach smell was gone, and I haven’t seen a single ant since. The scent is mild and clean, not like spray. I love that it’s safe and totally safe for kids and pets. I put the pouches down a few weeks ago so I cannot confirm one way or the other if they are effective yet. They smell nice. But a word of caution ...... the pouches ruined my laminate flooring. The floor under the pouches were all blistered (see enclosed photo). Nowhere in the directions did it state not to place them directly on the floor. I will follow up with the manufacture as to the faulty product. Update..... reached out the the manufacture but they never replied! ... show more

    • Does what it says… repels rodents
For those of us who do not like to use traps, these have worked well for our house! The smell is kind of strong for a couple of days, but it subsides quickly.

    • Ant disappeared!
Ants always love to crawl into the kitchen. They have a special fondness for the sugar in the kitchen. I put ant repellent sachet in the corner of the cabinet and near the food, and after a few days the ants were almost completely gone. I placed a few peppermint pest repellent pouches in the basement to deal with mice and other small pests. The mice and pests in my basement were really bad, and there were even spider webs everywhere. I used to find traces of them, but now it’s much quieter.
