These are loud and will surely get someone's attention if they go off. Lately in my town there has been alot of lawlessness; more than usual, at least to my knowledge and its very scary especially for women at night and the elderly. These will also hopefully scare unleashed dogs if they come charging when walking your own little pets. They are battery operated so you can also buy the battery here on amazon and they have a built-in flashlight. Colors are nice also. I have one on my purse along with my pepper spray and on my key chain and inside my car. I also gave some to my daughters, one who works graveyard shift at the local hospital, and one to each of my grand kids. I retired in the beginning of winter and gave some to my co- workers as well as it would soon be getting dark by the time they would be getting off work, especially if they had to work overtime as we were sometimes asked to do during winter workloads. Hopefully none of us will ever have to use them, but if we do at least we'll have something to at the very least get someone's attention who will help or get help. Over time I've purchased several of these alerts to give to family, friends and neighbors. These are pretty and loud and have a built in flashlight and are reasonably priced. I strongly recommend these.

Love this. It’s loud and easy to shut off by putting the pin back in. I’ve had mine for years and I recently bought these for my father, daughters and my daughter’s best friends. My father uses his at work . In case of an emergency he can pull the pin and hopefully get help from someone.

Bought these as stocking stuffers and tried them all out and they seem to work well. The alarm is loud and the LED light is very bright. They come with batteries already installed. They have a split ring on a short metal chain so they can be attached to a key ring, etc. The fabric strap can be pulled easily to sound the alarm but it's not so loose that it will just fall out. These would be good for elderly people as a way to sound the alarm if they fell, etc. and of course they are handy because of the flashlight. There are a variety of colors and they seem to be well made.

The media could not be loaded. I wanted to show people how these work so I added a small video. Crazy how easy they work. After reading people didn't get instructions my instructions were in the bottom of the box, show how they work and explain how to remove the screw and change the battery so the battery can be changed. All 5 of mine worked and my other worry was would they be simple enough for my 5 year old grand child, I'm sure they are. The pin pulls easily with the side rope and easily goes back in to turn off the alarm. I will make sure the 4 grand children visiting for the summer this year each have one and know how to use it. I'll buy 4 carabiners for them to attach them to their back pack or button holes or something so they can just reach for the little rope if they ever have a need to pull it. I know my 10 year old grand daughter was approached at a school yard park this past month by a strange man that many had seen hanging around and probably could have used it then. Some of the older kids saw the exchange between the two and reported it to the school or her mother would not have been aware. This would have given a tool to use just to draw attention of those near by. The man had asked her what she was doing and where she lived, she had evaded his questions and left but a device like this would have been useful.

These are loud! I especially like that they offer multiple units for a great price. My wife uses two. She is to activate one and drop it at some point, to grab attention, while fleeing from someone, and then activate the second and keep it on her. Hopefully, someone will notice and come along to help. I realize how weird all of this sounds, but in today's world, who knows what's coming next.
