If you have an iphone 15 you know they changed the charging port to a type C. As cool as that was, i realized my car charger/apple car play would no longer work. i even tried basic type c cords and while that did charge in the car, they did not work with my apple car play. i spent a couple weeks looking for an option that would. well here its is. I just upgraded to an iPhone 15 Pro Max and needed to get all new chargers as my previous 12 Pro Max used the old style, not the new USB-C charger. I plugged this into my laptop to charge my phone while working and it works perfectly. The length of the cord is the right length, sometimes they are too long and get all tangled up, so no concerns about that with this cord. It's braided and feels much sturdier than the old style chargers so it should last much longer than those did. ... show more

I've been using this cable for a few weeks now. After retiring my old cable that constantly disconnected my phone from my car, using this new cable has been smooth sailing! Because it is braided I don't have any concerns about accidentally closing compartment doors on it or bending it in weird ways. While the listing says this is made for Apple Carplay this works perfectly with my Android phone / Android Auto.
