I cannot say that this device protects from viruses, because it is never certain when I have been exposed to viruses. But I also have a significant allergy to cats and it is obvious when I am in a space with cats. This device protects me from cat dander to such an extent that the presence of cats which once was very disruptive is now not a factor of any kind. So it must be doing something. I wear it whenever I am going to be in a crowd.

Ouch -- Concept great, but item does not work even if the device is placed underneath and touching nose; device scent, look, and technology read well on paper, but truly a waste of money, perhaps it can be used as a paper weight or door stopper as it serves no other use or need since item does not work. I sat in a smoking park to test device, I thought I was going to pass out due to smoke overload and inhalation; upon leaving the smoking park, I felt singed and looked as if I had been working in a smoke zone, somewhat grayed but still standing, if I had stayed any longer in the park, a concerned citizen would have called the fire department on me or for me for failure to put myself out.

After reading warranty with magnifying glass said that under China law it is warrantied for 5 days and 15 days (doesn't say for what) and while machine for 1 year. If problems contact distributor for no contact info given! Previous air purifiers I had years ago which operated off a battery, gave off a strong air flow. This one just tells you not to touch the tiny hole it is supposed to come out of. I'll wear it for a year and find out if it works. LOL.

This Lil machine is silent. Its difficult to tell if it's working or not. My oldest son is a germaphobe and in high-school and so we got this curious if it'd help. This really should be called a air deionizer because that's what it does. It has a small peak on the top that produces a small electrical current. Kind of similar to checking a battery to see if it's good. It can give you a Lil zap. I think the technology is cool, it's sleek and silent so it won't be disruptive. There's an adjustable toggle to wear it around the neck. I don't kn9w if it works for certain, but my son gets sick a lot so I'm going to monitor. First impressions are good.

I usually sneeze a few times when I am at work due to something in the air. I used the personal air purifier for couple of days so far and have not sneezed. I will come back and do more review after using it for longer. It does feel a bit weird to hang it on your neck. I just leave it infront of me by the PC.
